Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition PS4 – Dark Arts Pack, Open-World Action RPG, Arabic Subtitles, UAE Version

Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition PS4 is the physical PS4 release of Warner Bros. Games’ open-world action RPG, bundled with the Dark Arts Pack. You play a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 1800s, long before Harry Potter’s time, who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. The game was developed by Avalanche Software and published under the Portkey Games label.

What the Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition PS4 Adds

Warner Bros. Games lists exactly what separates the editions. The Standard Edition is the base game. The Deluxe Edition adds the Dark Arts Pack, which contains three items: the Thestral Mount, the Dark Arts Cosmetic Set and the Dark Arts Battle Arena.

One item is often confused with the Deluxe box: the Dark Arts Garrison Hat. Warner Bros. marks it as exclusive to the Digital Deluxe Edition, so it is not part of this physical Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition PS4 copy. There are no microtransactions in the game; the only extra sold separately is the Dark Arts Pack itself, which Standard owners can buy in-game.

Life at Hogwarts in the 1800s

The base game inside the Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition PS4 is the same full adventure as every other version. Warner Bros. describes an immersive open-world RPG where you freely roam Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, the Forbidden Forest and the surrounding Overland area. You choose your house at the start, create your own witch or wizard, and attend classes such as Charms, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Herbology and Potions. Some classmates become companions who can join you on your journey.

The castle itself is fully explorable, with dungeons, secret passageways and puzzles, and the Room of Requirement becomes your own space. Harry, Hermione and Ron do not appear, because the story is set well before their time.

Spells, Beasts and Brooms

In Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition PS4, progress comes from mastering spells, brewing potions and harvesting magical plants, with a deep set of upgrades, talents and gear you can specialise for your playstyle. Warner Bros. says you can mix and match dozens of spells to define your own duelling style.

You can tame, mount and ride some magical beasts, and broom flight is both a way to travel and a set of broom races. Quidditch, however, is not playable. There is no morality system either, though quests present choices that shape the witch or wizard you become.

PlayStation Extra: the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop Quest

The PlayStation Blog confirms a quest built into the PS4 and PS5 versions: the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop. Completing it gives you a personal shop where you can sell items and gear at better rates than elsewhere, plus the Shopkeeper’s Cosmetic Set. It sits alongside the Dark Arts Pack in the Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition PS4, so this copy includes both.

Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition PS4: Arabic, Online and Players

Warner Bros.’ language table for PlayStation in the Europe, Middle East and ANZ region lists full audio and subtitles in English, French, Italian, German and Castilian Spanish, and on-screen text and subtitles only in Arabic, Polish and Russian. The PEGI rating on this box matches that region, so you can set Arabic menus and subtitles while the voices stay in English or another listed language.

The game is a single-player experience with no online or co-op mode. Warner Bros. notes one requirement for physical copies: you need an internet connection to install the Day 1 patch.

Who This Is Not For

Owners of a PS5 who want the PS5 version’s visuals and fast loading should buy that edition instead; we list Hogwarts Legacy for PS5 separately. This is a PS4 disc and no PS5 upgrade is included. Players looking for multiplayer, Quidditch matches or Arabic voice acting will not find them here.

Also note that the Dark Arts Garrison Hat is not in the Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition PS4 box, and the first installation needs an internet connection for the Day 1 patch.
