In Elden Ring PS5 you can also summon familiar spirits, or call on other Tarnished players to fight at your side, according to Bandai Namco. Those tools make the hardest fights more manageable, but the game is still demanding and expects you to learn enemy patterns.

PlayStation lists Elden Ring PS5 as 1 player offline, with support for up to 6 online players with PS Plus, and states that PS Plus is required for online play. Bandai Namco describes travelling the world alone or online with other players. The full adventure can be completed offline without any subscription.
