FC 27 PS5 Arabic: Arabic menus and how commentary is set
EA lists Arabic among the languages EA SPORTS FC 27 supports, and Sony’s PlayStation Store listing names Arabic as a screen language for the PS5 version, so the menus and on-screen text of the FC 27 PS5 Arabic copy can run in Arabic. Commentary is a separate setting: from the main menu open Game Settings, go to the Audio tab and choose a Commentary Language.
One detail is worth knowing before you buy. On the US PlayStation Store, Sony lists only English and French as voice languages for the PS5 build, while the PS4 build lists Arabic among its voices. EA’s help article on commentary mentions downloading audio content, and EA does not publish a separate language sheet for the Middle East box. So keep the console online on first launch: if Arabic commentary is not offered straight away, it is likely to come as a download rather than from the disc.
What the PS5 version adds over PS4
EA is direct about it: The Grounds, including Clubs, is only available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. Sony repeats the point on its own page, saying The Grounds is not available on the PlayStation 4 version. If your group of friends plays Clubs, the FC 27 PS5 Arabic disc is the PlayStation copy that has it.
Sony’s listing also marks the game as PS5 Pro Enhanced and lists DualSense support for the vibration function and the trigger effect, which means haptic feedback through the controller and resistance in the adaptive triggers. The Grounds on the FC 27 PS5 Arabic copy
EA describes The Grounds as a social football playground where the streets meet the stadium, spread over three districts inspired by football heritage. In EA’s help guide you walk the world and meet other players, play street matches from 1v1 up to 3v3, join kickabouts with house rules such as Bocce Ball and Bucket Ball, compete in Ranked Rush, drop into 11v11 matches and run your club’s league and playoff games from the Clubhouse. EA names Mbappé and Chloe Kelly among the mentors you meet there.
Because it is a shared online space, The Grounds needs an internet connection, and Sony states that online play on PlayStation needs a PlayStation Plus membership.
Cross-play and the online side on PS5
EA splits cross-play by console generation. A PS5 player matches with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC players, not with PS4 or Xbox One, and EA says Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 do not support cross-play for FC at all. EA’s terms list an internet connection and an EA Account as requirements, and the cover itself is printed with “Requires content download”, so expect a download before your first match even with the disc inserted.
Which PS5 can read this disc
A standard PS5 with a built-in drive reads the disc directly. The PS5 Digital Edition has no drive of its own, so it needs Sony’s separate Disc Drive attached before it can install the FC 27 PS5 Arabic disc. Without a drive, the digital version from the PlayStation Store is the better route.
Who This Is Not For
PS4 owners: a PS5 disc does not run on PS4. The FC 27 PS4 Arabic Edition is the copy for that console, and it carries a PS5 upgrade path for later.
Players who want early access or Ultimate Team bonuses: this is the Standard Edition, which EA describes as the full game and all core modes. The early access that began on 18 September 2026 belonged to the Ultimate editions. Friends on Nintendo consoles cannot join you online, because FC has no cross-play with Switch or Switch 2. The game is rated PEGI 16 and includes optional in-game purchases, including random items in Ultimate Team.
