FC 27 Switch Arabic: where the Arabic commentary comes from
Nintendo’s page for the Switch version names twelve languages, and Arabic is not one of them. Arabic commentary on the original Switch is instead listed in Nintendo’s eShop as a separate item, “EA SPORTS FC 27 In-Game Commentary – Arabic”. Download it from the eShop, then select it in the game under Game Settings, Audio, Commentary Language.
We have not checked the eShop price of that item for UAE accounts, so look at the listing before you rely on it. EA itself lists Arabic among the game’s supported languages.
What the first Switch version leaves out
Nintendo states that The Grounds, including Clubs, is only on the Switch 2 version, so neither mode is on the FC 27 Switch Arabic card. Online matches are smaller too: Nintendo lists 2 to 8 online players on Switch, against 2 to 100 on Switch 2.
What stays: Kick-Off, Manager Career and Football Ultimate Team, the licensed clubs and competitions, and the handheld, tabletop and TV modes that made the Switch popular for football on the move.
Manager Career on a handheld
Nintendo’s page highlights Manager Career’s rebuilt Transfer Market: player values that are closer to reality, rival clubs that bid actively, and new negotiation tactics including performance clauses and buy-back clauses. It is the kind of mode that suits short sessions, a few transfer windows on the way to work or between lectures.
Local play and controllers
Up to four people can play on one Switch, two consoles can connect over local wireless, and Nintendo lists the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller as compatible. Each extra player needs a controller, and extra controllers are sold separately.
Online play needs a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership, and Nintendo notes that Save Data Cloud backup is not supported for this game.
Cross-play and the Switch 2 question
EA states that Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 do not support cross-play for FC, so the FC 27 Switch Arabic copy only meets other Nintendo players online.
If you already own a Switch 2, buy the version made for it. EA sells a separate Switch 2 release with The Grounds, and Nintendo’s pages that we checked do not publish a statement on running this original Switch card on Switch 2.

Switch 2 owners, who should take the Switch 2 Arabic Edition. Players who want The Grounds or Clubs. Anyone without internet access at home: the box itself says a download is required.
