Power delivery

ASUS lists 14(80A)+2(80A)+1(80A) power stages: fourteen for VCore, two for SOC and one for miscellaneous rails, each an 80A DrMOS stage under its DIGI+ digital VRM. Rear I/O, video and networking

The rear panel of the TUF Gaming B850-PLUS WiFi has one 20Gbps USB-C, three 10Gbps USB-A, four 5Gbps USB-A and two USB 2.0 ports, plus DisplayPort, HDMI, the Wi-Fi antenna connectors, Realtek 2.5Gb Ethernet with TUF LANGuard, five audio jacks and a BIOS FlashBack button. Inside are a 10Gbps USB-C front connector (power output up to 5V/3A), a 5Gbps header for two ports, two USB 2.0 headers and a Thunderbolt (USB4) header for an add-in card. Audio, cooling and software

Audio on the TUF Gaming B850-PLUS WiFi runs on a Realtek ALC1220P 7.1 codec that ASUS rates at 120 dB SNR for playback and 113 dB for line-in recording. Cooling control covers seven 4-pin headers: CPU, CPU OPT, an AIO pump and four chassis fans, with three addressable Gen 2 RGB headers for Aura Sync lighting. ASUS adds AI Cooling II for one-click fan tuning, AI Networking II for traffic monitoring, AI Advisor for hardware questions and AI Cache Boost for Ryzen 9000 CPUs. Who This Is Not For

There is no USB4 on the rear: the TUF Gaming B850-PLUS WiFi tops out at a 20Gbps USB-C, and USB4 needs an add-in card on the internal header. Using the third M.2 slot disables the chipset x16 slot. M.2_1 accepts 2280 drives only. Expansion is one x4 and two x1 slots besides the main x16, so multi-GPU setups are out. Ryzen F-suffix chips have no integrated graphics, so the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs stay dark without a graphics card. And with a Ryzen 5 at stock settings, the 80A 14+2+1 design is more than you need.
