The Saints Row PS4 Notorious Edition is the 2022 reboot of the open-world action series, developed by Deep Silver Volition and published by Deep Silver. It launched on PS4 and PS5 on 23 August 2022, according to PlayStation. The genre is open-world action and third-person shooting: you lead a group of young friends who build a criminal empire from nothing in the fictional city of Santo Ileso. Notorious Edition is the retail edition name printed on this disc release; Deep Silver’s official pages describe the same core game.

Becoming Self Made in Santo Ileso
Deep Silver sets the reboot in Santo Ileso, a fictional city in the American Southwest, where a group of young friends start their own criminal enterprise with the goal of becoming Self Made. You play as the Boss, the heart of the Saints, and you decide who the Saints become. The crew includes Kevin, a publicist and DJ, Neenah, a getaway driver, and Eli, the strategist. Standing in your way are three factions: Marshall Defense Industries, a private military contractor led by Atticus Marshall; Los Panteros, a street gang led by Sergio Velez that focuses on car culture and smuggling; and The Idols, an anarchist group run by a masked circle called the Collective. The tone is loud, funny and over the top, in the spirit of the series.
Criminal Ventures, Vehicles and Customisation
PlayStation describes Santo Ileso as the biggest and best Saints Row playground ever, spread across nine distinct districts in the Southwest desert. You take over the city block by block through criminal ventures, businesses that open new missions and income. Getting around is part of the fun: PlayStation lists cars, bikes, planes, helicopters, VTOLs, hoverbikes, hoverboards and go-karts, plus a wingsuit for gliding across the map. Deep Silver promises more than 80 vehicles to collect and car customisation at Jim Robs Garage. Character creation is described as the most extensive customisation suite in the series, with full outfit combinations, and you can also change the look of your weapons. PlayStation lists the genre as a shooter, and the three rival factions give you plenty of targets as you expand the Saints’ territory across the city.
Solo Campaign and Drop-In Co-op
The full campaign can be played alone. PlayStation lists optional online play for up to 2 players, which needs PlayStation Plus on PS4. It describes the co-op as fully untethered drop-in and drop-out, so a friend can join your game at any time without breaking your single-player progress. There is no split-screen mode. The PlayStation page lists English voices with on-screen text in several languages, including English, French, German, Spanish and Korean. The game also offers optional in-game purchases. Expansions are sold separately.
Retail Disc, Region and PS5
You receive a new, factory-sealed retail disc of Saints Row Notorious Edition for PS4. PS4 games are region-free, so the disc plays on any PS4 console. PlayStation lists the game as playable on PS5, noting that some PS4 features may be absent, so a PS5 with a disc drive can run this disc. Delivered across the UAE in up to 3 business days, free on orders from AED 300.
Who This Is Not For
Saints Row is rated ESRB Mature 17+ for blood, nudity, sexual themes, strong language, drug use and violence, so it is not for children. There is no split-screen, and online co-op needs PlayStation Plus and is limited to 2 players. Arabic is not listed among the languages, and the story expansions are sold separately.
