A 12+2+2 VRM in micro-ATX size

GIGABYTE lists 12 VCORE and 2 SOC phases on 60A DrMOS plus 2 MISC phases on Ppak, with VCORE arranged as a 6+6 parallel design, on a 6-layer, 2X copper PCB. The heatsinks are claimed at about four times the surface of a standard design and sit on a 5 W/mK thermal pad, and CPU power comes through a 24-pin and an 8-pin connector with UD Solid Pins. Audio that depends on revision

GIGABYTE lists the audio differently by PCB revision. Revision 1.1 uses a Realtek ALC1220 codec, and its rear line-out supports DSD playback. Revision 1.0 uses a Realtek codec whose model GIGABYTE does not name. Both revisions offer 2, 4, 5.1 and 7.1 channel output and an optical S/PDIF out on the rear panel, alongside two analogue audio jacks. If the exact codec matters for your setup, the revision is printed on the board and the box.
