Table of Contents
Campaign and Endgame
Activision builds the game in the Black Ops 7 PS5 International Version around three pillars, and the campaign comes first. It is set in 2035 and can be played solo or in co-op with up to three other players, four in total. When the story is done, Endgame opens: a replayable final stage where your squad earns Combat Rating by completing activities and assignments and defeating enemies. Each step unlocks a Power Upgrade or Skill of your choice, you can equip two Abilities, and the target is Combat Rating 60. If the whole squad goes down, the run resets, Combat Rating included, which gives each run real tension.
Multiplayer: 6v6 and 20v20 Skirmish
Multiplayer in the Black Ops 7 PS5 International Version launched with 16 maps for 6v6 play, 13 of them new and three returning from Black Ops 2, according to Activision. Alongside them, Skirmish is a 20v20 objective mode on two separate large maps, with wingsuits for crossing the battlefield. Omnimovement returns, letting you sprint, slide and dive in any direction, now with wall jumps and mantling of high ledges; combat rolls reduce fall damage in Skirmish. Tactical Sprint is no longer a default move in multiplayer or Zombies and is instead available through an optional perk.
Round-based Zombies
In the Black Ops 7 PS5 International Version, Zombies returns in its round-based form, with a launch map set in the Dark Aether, and for many Black Ops fans it is the main reason to buy the game. Rounds get harder as you go, and squads plan weapons, upgrades and routes to survive as long as possible. The mode is played online with friends or matched players, so the same online requirements apply as for multiplayer. Treyarch has supported Zombies with new maps and events through past Black Ops games, and Black Ops 7 continues that approach with seasonal content.
Online requirements and downloads
The Black Ops 7 PS5 International Version disc is an online-focused game. The box carries an “Internet and PlayStation Plus Required” notice and a “Requires content download” note, so expect a large download on first launch even when installing from the disc. Online multiplayer needs a PlayStation Plus membership, and an Activision account is required. Make sure your PS5 has enough free storage and a stable connection before the first session, and plan time for the first download.
International Version, PS5 and language
The Black Ops 7 PS5 International Version is the disc printed for international markets, here with North American ESRB packaging. Activision does not publish a language list for each regional disc, so we cannot confirm which menu or subtitle languages this copy installs. If Arabic matters to you, the Arabic Version of Black Ops 7 for PS5 is listed separately. On PS5 the game supports DualSense vibration and trigger effects and is marked PS5 Pro Enhanced. The disc needs a PS5 with a disc drive, or a PS5 Digital Edition fitted with the separate disc drive.
Who This Is Not For
The Black Ops 7 PS5 International Version is not for players without a reliable internet connection, since online play is required, or for anyone who does not want a PlayStation Plus subscription for multiplayer. The Black Ops 7 PS5 International Version is rated ESRB Mature 17+, so it is not for younger players. The disc does not run on PS4, and a PS5 Digital Edition needs the separate disc drive. Buyers who need confirmed Arabic language support should choose the Arabic Version.
