How close the Mi 4K Laser Projector 150 sits to the wall

In practice, the user manual gives these distances from the wall: about 14 cm for an 80-inch image, 24 cm for 100 inches, 34 cm for 120 inches and 49 cm for 150 inches. Xiaomi says the image can be adjusted from 40 to 200 inches, but the recommended range is 80 to 150 inches.
Focus is electric, and Xiaomi lists 8-point keystone correction for small alignment fixes. Placing the projector square to the wall first gives the sharpest picture, because digital correction works best as a final touch rather than the main adjustment.
Brightness and contrast, with their conditions
Xiaomi rates the Mi 4K Laser Projector 150 at 1600 ANSI lumens in bright mode. Xiaomi also quotes 5,000 lumens, but that figure describes the light source itself, not the light that reaches the screen, so 1600 ANSI lumens is the number to compare with other projectors.
Xiaomi quotes a 3000:1 contrast ratio without stating the measurement method. The light source is ALPD 3.0 laser phosphor from Appotronics, and Xiaomi says it raises the proportion of red light to 16 to 18 percent.
