The Govee Star Light Projector (model H6093) turns a bedroom ceiling into a moving aurora with a layer of laser stars on top. Govee gives it RGBW lamp beads with 16 million colours, three flowing aurora effects and three laser movement modes, more than 52 scene modes, and a built-in Bluetooth speaker with 18 white noise options for falling asleep. It runs on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and works with the Govee Home app, Alexa, Google Assistant and Matter.

What the Govee Star Light Projector Is
Govee lists this model as the Govee Star Light Projector with Aurora Effects, model H6093, in black. It is a compact, round projector head on a stand, aimed upwards to throw light across a ceiling and the top of the walls. Govee quotes a projection space of 650 sq ft, about 60 square metres, which covers the ceiling of most bedrooms.
It is a mood and sleep light, not a video projector. The Govee Star Light Projector does not show films or a screen image; it projects coloured aurora waves and points of laser light that look like stars.
Aurora Effects, Laser Stars and RGBW Colour
The aurora comes from RGBW lamp beads behind what Govee calls a unique lens design, which gives three flowing aurora effects. Govee says a dual lamp bead design raises the brightness, and the colour range covers 16 million shades, so the aurora can be a calm green-and-blue northern-lights look or something warmer for a relaxed evening.
On top of the aurora sits the star layer, with three laser movement modes. You can run the aurora alone, the stars alone or both together, and the Govee Home app offers more than 52 preset scene modes that combine colour, movement and brightness for you.
18 White Noises and a Sleep Timer
This version of the Govee Star Light Projector has a built-in Bluetooth speaker. Govee loads it with 18 white noise options for sleep and relaxation, and the speaker can also play your own audio from a phone over Bluetooth.
The timer is set in the app. In Sleep Mode the projector can switch on or off automatically, so the aurora and white noise can fade out after you fall asleep instead of running all night. Govee also points to adjustable brightness and soft, indirect light, which suits a child’s room as a night light.
App, Voice Control and Matter
Setup goes through the Govee Home app over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. From there you pick scenes, change colours, set the timer and choose white noises. There is also a function button on the projector for quick control without the phone.
For voice, Govee lists Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Matter. Matter support means the Govee Star Light Projector can join other Matter-compatible smart-home platforms as well as Govee’s own app.
Power: What You Need to Know
Govee rates the projector at 12 watts, with a light input of 5V DC at 3A and an adapter input of AC 100–240V at 50/60Hz, so it suits UAE mains through a suitable adapter. Govee’s product page states that the power adapter is not included in the package, so plan on a USB power adapter rated at least 5V 3A.
Who This Is Not For
Anyone who wants to watch films: this is a star and aurora light, not a video projector.
Buyers who expect a plug in the box: Govee states the power adapter is not included, so you need your own 5V 3A adapter.
Rooms with high ambient light: projection effects like these show best in a dark room at night, and Govee does not publish a brightness rating in lumens.
Anyone who needs exact dimensions or weight before buying: Govee does not publish either on the H6093 product page.
