The Zombi PS4 disc holds Ubisoft’s survival horror game, released on PS4 on 18 August 2015. Ubisoft describes it as an updated version of the 2012 Wii U game ZombiU. The setting is London, devastated by a second great plague and cut off from the outside world. You play one survivor after another in the city’s streets and underground passages, with scarce ammo, a weak flashlight and permanent death. It is an Action and Adventure title for 1 player, rated PEGI 18.

London After the Second Great Plague
The official PlayStation Store description sets ZOMBI in a London devastated by a second great plague. The city is sealed off from the rest of the world, and the streets and underground canals are full of shambling, disease-ravaged infected. You take control of an ordinary survivor, not a trained soldier, and your only goal is to stay alive long enough to make progress. Ubisoft’s launch article describes dark back alleys filled with flesh-hungry zombies, and screenshots on Ubisoft’s site show the London Underground and the area around Buckingham. There is no heroic main character who carries the story on his shoulders. Instead, each survivor is someone who can die at any moment, and the story moves forward through the people who come after them. The atmosphere is bleak, quiet and tense rather than action-packed.

Permadeath, Scarce Ammo and a Bag That Never Pauses
ZOMBI is played in first person and is built around careful, slow survival. Ubisoft highlights limited bullets and melee weapons, so you often fight with a cricket bat or other close-range tools rather than guns. The PS4 version adds two new melee weapons, a longer-reach shovel and a stronger nail bat. Your flashlight can be focused into a wider, stronger beam, but that drains the battery faster, and a battery needs 30 seconds of darkness to recharge fully. A mini-map is shown on screen. Checking your bag does not pause the game, so you have to listen for zombies while you sort your gear. Death is permanent: when your survivor dies, you continue as a new survivor with minimal gear, and your old body keeps your items until you find it and fight it to get them back.
Single-Player and PS4 Features
The PlayStation Store lists ZOMBI as a 1-player game, and no online features are listed, so there is no co-op, no versus mode and no PlayStation Plus requirement. Ubisoft notes that the Wii U second-screen controls were removed in favour of improved performance. The store lists video output up to 1080p and DUALSHOCK 4 vibration. Voice is available in English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish, with text in nine languages. Arabic is not listed. There is no PS VR support.

Retail Disc, PS4 and PS5
This is a new, sealed retail PS4 disc. PS4 games are region-free, so it works on any PS4, PS4 Slim or PS4 Pro. Sony’s store page states ZOMBI is playable on PS5, although some PS4 features may be absent and you need a PS5 with a disc drive. The store lists a minimum of 22GB of free space. Delivered across the UAE in up to 3 business days, free on orders from AED 300.
Who This Is Not For
If you want fast shooting or co-op, skip it: ZOMBI is a slow, 1-player survival game with very little ammo. Permadeath can cost you a survivor’s progress and gear in one mistake, which some players find frustrating. It is a port of a 2012 Wii U game, so visuals look dated next to newer releases. Rated PEGI 18, and there is no Arabic language option.
