The Farm Together PS4 disc holds the farming simulation from Spanish developer and publisher Milkstone Studios, the creators of Avatar Farm, released on PS4 on 20 February 2019 according to the PlayStation Store. Sony lists it under the Casual, Family and Simulation genres, and Milkstone calls it the ultimate farming experience. You start with a small plot of land and slowly turn it into a large farm, either on your own or with friends online. It is rated ESRB Everyone and has no combat at all.
Farm Together PS4: Table of Contents
From a Small Plot to a Huge Farm
Farm Together does not have a story campaign or characters to follow. The goal is simple and set by you: take a small plot of land and grow it, step by step, into a farm as large and as detailed as you want. Milkstone’s description on the PlayStation Store focuses on that feeling of steady progress. You grow crops, plant trees and look after animals, and the money you earn goes into new buildings and facilities. Every action also gives you experience, which unlocks hundreds of new items over time, from new plants to decorations. There are no enemies, no timers that end the game and no way to lose. That makes it a calm game for winding down after work or school, and for families who want something gentle and non-violent to play at their own pace.
Crops, Trees, Animals and Time That Keeps Moving
Day to day, you plant seeds, water and harvest crops, care for animals and collect what your trees produce. Each harvest earns money and experience. Money pays for new buildings, facilities and expansions, while experience unlocks new items to place on the farm, so your layout keeps changing as you level up. One of the features Milkstone highlights is that time keeps advancing while you are offline. Crops continue to grow and trees continue to produce while you are away, so when you return there is always something ready to collect. This makes the game well suited to short daily sessions as well as longer weekend play. The controls are simple and the pace is slow, so younger players can enjoy it alongside adults. The store also lists DUALSHOCK 4 vibration and Remote Play support.
Play Alone, With Friends or Open to the Public
You can manage your farm alone, let only friends in, or open it to the public for cooperative play. The PlayStation Store lists 1 to 4 players for offline play and up to 16 players online. Online play is optional and requires a PlayStation Plus subscription. ESRB lists Users Interact and In-Game Purchases, because optional paid packs and Season bundles with extra items are sold on the store. They are not needed to play. There is no PS VR support.
Retail Disc, PS4 and PS5
This is a new, sealed retail PS4 disc. PS4 games are region-free, so the disc runs on any PS4, PS4 Slim or PS4 Pro. Sony’s store page states Farm Together is playable on PS5, though some PS4 features may be missing and a PS5 with a disc drive is needed. Delivered across the UAE in up to 3 business days, free on orders from AED 300.
Who This Is Not For
If you want a story, combat or goals with pressure, this is not for you: Farm Together is an open-ended, slow farming sim with no ending. Online co-op needs a PlayStation Plus subscription, and many extra items are sold separately as paid packs. Progress can feel repetitive because you repeat the same planting and harvesting loop. The simple, cartoon visuals are not built to impress on newer consoles.
