Xiaomi’s 150AW figure was measured in its own lab in high power mode with a full battery, and the 25,000 Pa maximum vacuum suction under the same conditions. Xiaomi states this is 25% more than the 120AW of the earlier G9 Plus. As the battery drains, and in the Standard or Energy-saving modes, suction is lower; high power mode is intended for deep cleaning, while the other two are for daily use.
The rated power is 460 W at a rated voltage of 25.2 V. Xiaomi does not publish the battery capacity in mAh, but says the pack is built from 7 large-capacity cells.
Runtime by Brush and Mode
Xiaomi publishes a runtime table rather than a single number. With the 2-in-1 brush nozzle, the Xiaomi Vacuum Cleaner G20 runs up to 60 minutes in Energy-saving mode; with the electric floor brush, up to 45 minutes; with the mini electric brush, up to 50 minutes. Standard mode gives about 25 minutes with any head, and high power mode about 5 minutes.
Those are Xiaomi lab results, and the floor brush was tested on hard floors and tiles. In practice, a daily clean of a UAE apartment in Energy-saving or Standard mode is comfortable on one charge; a deep clean of rugs in high power mode is a short job. Xiaomi does not publish the charging time.
Brushes: LED Floor Head, Mini Brush and 2-in-1 Nozzle
The Xiaomi Vacuum Cleaner G20 electric floor brush adapts to hard floors, tiles and carpets, and has an LED light at the front to show dust in dim corners and under furniture. A comb-tooth scraper on the large roller strips hair off as it turns; Xiaomi says this reduces tangling compared with its earlier models but does not remove it completely.
The mini electric brush beats at 1500 rpm on a full charge, aimed at dust mites and dander in mattresses and sofa cushions. The 2-in-1 nozzle switches between a crevice tool for sofa gaps and window tracks and a brush for shelves and keyboards; with the extension rod it reaches AC vents and curtain tops, a common dust trap in UAE homes.
Filtration and Dust Cup
The Xiaomi Vacuum Cleaner G20 separates dust with a 12-cone cyclone and then filters the air through five stages: a primary cyclonic separator, a metal mesh, the 12-cone cyclone, a high-density sponge filter and a high-efficiency filter. Xiaomi tested the full unit at 99.9% filtration of particles from 0.3 to 10 microns, under clause 5.14 of IEC 62885-4:2020.
The dust compartment holds about 0.6 L and pops open for emptying. Xiaomi notes that the max-fill line sits below the full compartment capacity, and suction is best kept by emptying before dirt passes that line. The filters are washable, but they must be completely dry before refitting.
