What the Station Does
The eufy Omni C20 station handles three jobs. It empties the robot’s 250 ml dustbin into a 3.1 L dust bag, which eufy says lasts up to 60 days in a home without pets. It washes the mop pads from a 2.5 L clean-water tank and collects the dirty water in a 2.4 L tank; both tanks are transparent, so you can see when to refill or empty them. Then it dries the mops with room-temperature air, for 4 hours by default, which you can extend in humid weather.
The eufy Omni C20 station measures 330 × 289 × 460 mm, so plan for a spot about 46 cm tall with clear floor in front for the robot to dock.
Mopping and Carpets
eufy calls the mopping system Mop Master: two rotating mop pads spin at 180 RPM with 6 N of downward pressure. When the eufy Omni C20 detects carpet, it lifts the mops by 10.4 mm.
The app offers three carpet behaviours. BoostIQ raises suction automatically on carpets; Vacuum Only Mode lifts the mops and only vacuums carpets; Carpet Avoidance keeps the robot off carpets while it mops, so they stay dry. If your rugs are thicker than the mop lift, Carpet Avoidance is the setting to use when mopping.
Suction, Brushes and Hair
Suction on the eufy Omni C20 reaches up to 7,000 Pa, which eufy notes is the maximum level in BoostIQ mode; real performance varies with floor type and dust level. A rolling brush and a side brush pick up debris, and eufy highlights automatic hair detangling to reduce hair wrapping around the brush, which helps in homes with long hair or shedding pets.
Ultra-Slim Body and Mapping
At 85 mm (3.35 inches) tall and 328 × 334 mm across, the eufy Omni C20 is built to reach under low sofas and beds; eufy says it can enter spaces with 3.54 inches (90 mm) of clearance.
In the eufy Clean app you can map up to 3 floors, set no-go zones, schedule cleaning, pick personalised cleaning modes and adjust carpet settings. Three infrared cliff sensors help keep it from falling down stairs, and it works with Alexa and Google Assistant. The robot connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only.
Battery and Noise
The 3200 mAh battery runs for up to 101 minutes of combined sweeping and mopping in Standard mode on wooden floors, according to eufy, and takes about 5.5 hours to recharge. eufy lists noise at 54.22 dB in Standard, vacuum-only mode.
Who This Is Not For
The eufy Omni C20 is not for anyone who wants hot-air mop drying, because the station dries with room-temperature air. It needs a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, as 5 GHz is not supported. The station is not plumbed in, so you refill the clean tank and empty the dirty tank by hand. Homes with pets will change the dust bag sooner than the 60-day figure, which eufy gives for homes without pets. And rugs thicker than the 10.4 mm mop lift need Carpet Avoidance during mopping.
