The Dreame D30 Ultra is a robot that vacuums and mops in one run, then returns to its base station to empty the dust, wash the mop pads and air-dry them. On its official product page Dreame rates the suction at up to 25,000Pa from in-house lab data, lists MopExtend RoboSwing that pushes the mop out up to 4cm into edges and corners, and a 3.2L dust bag that it rates for up to 100 days of auto-emptying. The unit we sell is the black version. It is aimed at homes with hard floors and some rugs, where you want daily cleaning without emptying a bin by hand.

Suction, battery and charging
Dreame rates the Dreame D30 Ultra at 25,000Pa with its Vormax system and five suction levels: Quiet, Standard, Turbo, Max and Max+, with Max+ available only in the mop-after-vacuum mode. The 5,200mAh battery is rated for up to 230 minutes and about 156 m², but only in Vacuum Only mode with Quiet suction; mopping and the higher levels use more power, so expect shorter runs. Dreame also says the robot charges about 30% faster during off-peak hours than its models without fast charging, and that off-peak timing depends on the region. Dreame notes that suction, runtime and other headline figures come from in-house lab data and that actual performance may vary.
Mopping, edges and carpets
MopExtend RoboSwing swings the mop pad outward by up to 4cm, a figure Dreame says is calculated in its test environment, so the Dreame D30 Ultra reaches along skirting boards and around furniture legs better than a fixed round mop. On carpet the robot lifts its mops by 10.5mm so rugs stay dry, and Dreame offers Carpet Boost (not available in Quiet mode) and Intensive Carpet Cleaning, which slows the robot down and cleans the carpet twice. The AceClean DryBoard in the station uses 20 high-temperature spray nozzles, but Dreame does not publish a mop-washing water temperature, and it lists air drying without saying the air is heated.
Navigation and obstacles
The Dreame D30 Ultra uses 3DAdapt obstacle avoidance with dynamic laser navigation, saves up to 4 maps for multi-floor homes and works in low light. In the app you can set no-go zones and pet zones, and Dreame lists carpet avoidance as well. The robot crosses thresholds up to 20mm, and higher with the threshold ramps. Dreame does not list an AI camera for this model, so it is best to pick up cables, socks and small toys before a run. The TriCut main brush is designed to cut tangled hair, and Dreame quotes lab results for low hair tangling.
The base station
After cleaning, the station empties the robot’s 300ml dust box into a 3.2L bag, which Dreame rates for up to 100 days in its lab; homes with pets or more dust will fill it sooner. The station holds 4.5L of clean water and 4.0L of used water, which you refill and empty by hand, as it is not a plumbed-in model. It measures 457 × 340 × 590mm and weighs 8.86kg, so measure the spot before ordering and leave clear space in front for the Dreame D30 Ultra to dock and leave.
Size, colour and what is in the box
The robot measures 350 × 350 × 97mm and weighs 3.89kg, so it fits under furniture with more than about 97mm of clearance. Dreame sells the model in black and white; this listing is black, which hides scuffs on the body better than white. Dreame lists in the box: the robot and base station, the main brush, brush guard, side brush and dust box with filter pre-installed, 2 mop pads with 2 holders, 2 dust bags (one pre-installed), a ramp extension platform for the station, a quick start guide and the user manual.
Who This Is Not For
The Dreame D30 Ultra is not for floors that stay covered in cables and small toys, since Dreame lists laser-based avoidance and no camera. It does not fit under furniture lower than about 97mm. It is not for anyone who wants mop washing at a stated hot-water temperature, because Dreame does not publish one. The tanks are filled and emptied by hand, so it does not suit anyone looking for a plumbed-in station, and the station is fairly large at almost 9kg.
