The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Pro is the long-runtime model of Xiaomi’s X20 family. It vacuums with 7000Pa of suction, mops with two thick rotating pads, and runs for up to 160 minutes in Standard mode with vacuuming and mopping, the longest figure in the range. Its Omni Station empties the dust into a 2.5L bag, washes the mop pads, keeps used water in a separate 3.8L dirty tank and dries the pads with hot air. It suits larger apartments and single-floor villas where a robot needs to finish the whole home on one charge.

7000Pa suction and four power levels
Xiaomi measured 7000Pa with a vacuum degree tester in its own labs, noting that suction varies with the environment. Four suction levels, Silent, Standard, Strong and Turbo, are chosen in the app, and Carpet boost raises suction on rugs when enabled, though not in Turbo mode. Four cleaning modes cover vacuuming, mopping, vacuuming and mopping together, and vacuuming before mopping for a deeper clean. For daily dust, sand and pet hair on tiles and marble, Standard is usually enough and saves battery.
160 minutes on one charge
The battery of the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Pro is 4800mAh rated and 5200mAh nominal, and Xiaomi lists up to 160 minutes of vacuuming and mopping in Standard mode from a full charge in its lab test. That is 40 minutes more than the X20 Max and 20 minutes more than the X20+. Stronger suction levels shorten the runtime. If the battery does run low, the robot returns to charge and then resumes from where it stopped, guided by its saved map.
Navigation and sensors
An LDS laser scans the home in 360 degrees for quick mapping, route planning and multi-floor maps. For obstacles, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Pro combines structured light with an edge laser sensor across a 120-degree wide field, with ultra wide-angle detection of low obstacles and low gaps under furniture. A cliff sensor turns it away from steps. An ultrasonic sensor detects carpet and lifts the pads up to 10mm; for carpets thicker than 8mm or shaggy rugs, Xiaomi recommends Carpet avoidance mode. Xiaomi lists no camera.
Omni Station with separate clean and dirty tanks
The station holds 4L of clean water and 3.8L of dirty water, so used mop water never goes back on the floor. Xiaomi says one full clean tank covers more than 120 square metres in Standard mode with daily mop washing. Dust goes into a 2.5L bag that Xiaomi expects to empty about once every 75 days in a 120 square metre home with three people and a pet. Hot-air drying reaches over 99% dryness in about 3 hours, which matters in humid UAE summers when damp pads start to smell. The cleaning tray detaches for rinsing.
Size, power and app
The robot (model D102GL) measures 350mm across and 97mm high and weighs 3.7kg, so check clearance under sofas and beds. The station (D102-JZEU) measures 340 x 420 x 563mm and takes 200 to 240V at 50/60Hz, which suits UAE sockets. The Xiaomi Home app handles remote start, schedules and restricted areas, and voice control works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant on compatible devices, depending on language and region.
Who This Is Not For
The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Pro is not for homes with mostly thick or shaggy carpet, where Xiaomi recommends Carpet avoidance mode. It has no extending edge mop or hair-cutting brush; those are on the X20 Max. Xiaomi does not list hot-water mop washing for this model, nor automatic water refill or drain, so tanks are filled and emptied by hand. There is no camera, so floors should be cleared of cables first, and the station needs a permanent spot near a socket.
