That ROM adds Google Play, Google account sign-in and English or Arabic menus to hardware that Xiaomi has so far launched only in China, without any official international edition. It is therefore a China phone with software from outside Xiaomi’s own release channel, offered to UAE buyers who prefer a colour with personality.

Xiaomi’s Chinese name for this finish is 冰桃粉, which translates roughly as ice peach pink; the company has not published an English name, so Ice Peach Pink is our own rendering. In Xiaomi’s official line-up render the back is a pale, cool-leaning rose, the frame is tinted to match, and the camera island glows deep wine red, which makes the colour look warmer and richer than the plain pink swatch suggests.

It sits next to Black, White and Galaxy Blue in a four-colour range, and it is the only one of them that reads as clearly feminine or celebratory without being loud. Pastel pink phones are easy to spot on a table, hard to mistake for someone else’s, and they photograph well beside flowers, coffee and gift wrapping.

Software on the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max Global ROM Pink, and its limits

The ROM on this phone gives you Google Play, an English or Arabic interface and the usual Google apps. What it is not is Xiaomi’s own global software, because Xiaomi has not released one. Expect updates to come on their own timing, and some features may differ from a future official unit.

China-only services, among them Mi Pay and mainland transit cards, belong to the China edition and will not be there. Xiaomi’s sheet does not list Google Wallet either, so contactless payment with a UAE card is not something to count on.

If you want Xiaomi’s official global model, eSIM or tap-to-pay with a UAE bank card, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max Global ROM Pink is not the right phone. If you want a small phone, it is not that either: the 6.9-inch screen and 163.39 x 77.6 mm body are big. And if you hope for a Xiaomi UAE warranty, note that none applies to this China unit.
