Atomic Heart PlayStation 4: Facility 3826 in an Alternate 1955
The setting is the main reason people pick up Atomic Heart PlayStation 4. Mundfish describes Facility 3826 as a fictional, top-secret base built to manufacture robots. When its Kollektiv neural network is corrupted, the robots and a range of deadly mutated creatures turn on the staff, and the bright, optimistic world above ground starts to look very different.
Focus Entertainment sums up your mission as Major P-3: eliminate the consequences of a large-scale accident and prevent a leak of classified information that threatens the whole world. The game mixes bright open areas with bleak underground laboratories, so the tone shifts between surreal and grim.
Weapons and the Polymer Glove
Combat in Atomic Heart PlayStation 4 uses both long-range and melee weapons, but the signature tool is your experimental glove. Mundfish says it comes with an integrated polymer AI called CHAR-les, and its special abilities let you deal with enemies and the environment in ways ordinary guns cannot.
Focus Entertainment’s own pitch is to adapt your fighting style to each opponent, use your environment and upgrade your equipment, in combat it calls visceral, spectacular and unforgiving. Expect to experiment rather than run and gun.
Exploration and Puzzles
Between fights in Atomic Heart PlayStation 4 you explore, open locks and solve spatial puzzles, according to Mundfish. The game is a single-player campaign, so the pace is set by you: you can push through the story or spend time searching the open areas and labs for upgrades.
Playing on PS4 and Upgrading to PS5
This disc is the PS4 version. It plays on a PS4 or PS4 Pro, and PlayStation states that if you already own the PS4 version you can get the PS5 digital version at no extra cost; the box carries a PS5 Upgrade Available badge. Under PlayStation’s rules for disc copies, the free upgrade needs a PS5 with a disc drive, and the PS4 disc has to be in the console to play the upgraded version.

Story DLC and What the Disc Includes
Atomic Heart PlayStation 4 on disc is the base game. Mundfish has released four story expansions since launch, including Annihilation Instinct, Trapped in Limbo and Blood On Crystal, plus a fourth adventure set in a Neptune research centre. Those are sold separately on PlayStation Store or as part of other editions, and are not included on this disc.
Languages and Age Rating
PlayStation lists voices in Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian and Spanish for the PS4 version, and on-screen text in those languages plus Japanese, Korean and Ukrainian. Arabic is not listed. The pictured box is the North American release, rated ESRB Mature 17+ for blood and gore, intense violence, partial nudity, strong language and use of alcohol.
Who This Is Not For
Atomic Heart PlayStation 4 is not for younger players, and it is not for anyone who needs Arabic menus or subtitles, as PlayStation does not list Arabic. There is no multiplayer or co-op.
If you play on a PS5 Digital Edition without a disc drive, a PS4 disc cannot be inserted, so this copy is the wrong choice. Buy the PS5 version instead.
