The UFO Robot Grendizer PS4 disc, full title The Feast of the Wolves, is an action-adventure game developed by Endroad and published by Microids, released on 14 November 2023. It adapts the cult animated series created by Go Nagai and covers the first story arc of the anime. You play as Duke Fleed, known on Earth as Daisuke Umon, and pilot the giant robot Grendizer to defend the planet from King Vega’s forces, who strike from a secret base on the dark side of the Moon. The anime’s famous music returns, re-orchestrated for the game.

Duke Fleed, Grendizer and the Vega Empire
Microids describes The Feast of the Wolves as a return to the most memorable moments of the original Grendizer anime. The story follows Duke Fleed, the prince who hides on Earth under the name Daisuke Umon, as he takes the controls of Grendizer to stand against King Vega. The Vega forces have built a secret base on the dark side of the Moon and launch attack after attack on Earth. The publisher promises a story full of bravery, betrayal and large-scale battles. Between missions, dialogue sequences set in the series’ iconic locations bring back many familiar characters, so fans who grew up with the show will recognise faces and places. For many players in the Arab world, Grendizer is a childhood hero, and this game puts that story in their hands for the first time on PS4.
Four Gameplay Phases and Signature Attacks
According to Microids, gameplay moves between four phases. On the ground, Grendizer fights in action brawler sections. In the air and in combat zones there are third-person shooter phases, plus shoot ’em up sequences that recall classic arcade games. Exploration phases let you move through the world between battles. Throughout, you perform Grendizer’s signature attacks from the anime and upgrade them over time. Completing missions earns experience points, which you spend to unlock new abilities and improve your powers, so the robot grows stronger as the story advances. The soundtrack uses the series’ musical themes, re-orchestrated for this release. The official rating is PEGI 7, so the fighting is robot-against-monster action without graphic content, suitable for younger fans as well as adults.
Solo Campaign and Language Options
UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves is a single-player game; Microids lists it as Solo, and it has no online or local multiplayer mode. The experience is a story campaign that follows the first arc of the anime. Microids’ official page lists Arabic among both the voice and on-screen text languages, alongside English, French and Italian voices and text in other languages, though the page’s language details are not fully consistent. Collector and Deluxe editions were also released, but this listing is for the game disc. PlayStation trophies are included, as with all PS4 games.
Sealed PAL R2 Disc and PS5 Use
You receive a new, factory-sealed PAL (R2) disc of UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves for PS4, the region used in Europe and the Middle East. PS4 games are region-free, so it plays on any PS4. Microids also released a separate PS5 version; most PS4 games run on PS5 consoles with a disc drive, so check Sony’s list. Delivered across the UAE in up to 3 business days, free on orders from AED 300.
Who This Is Not For
This is a single-player game with no co-op, versus or split-screen mode. It covers only the first story arc of the anime, so fans hoping for the full series will not find it here. It is a mid-budget licensed game, so it does not offer the scale of large open-world releases. The disc holds the standard game only, without the Collector or Deluxe edition extras such as the figurine or SteelBook.
