Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Xbox is the physical disc release of SEGA’s role-playing game for Xbox Series X and Xbox One, as printed on the box. Developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and released on 26 January 2024, it brings together two larger-than-life heroes: Ichiban Kasuga, an unstoppable underdog, and Kazuma Kiryu, whom SEGA describes as a broken man facing down his last days.

The Story of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Xbox
SEGA frames the game as an epic emotional drama. The two heroes are brought together by the hand of fate, or perhaps something more sinister, and the adventure spans the Pacific: you live it up in Japan and explore Hawaii, with a mix of quests and activities to enjoy at your own pace.
Kasuga leads the cast, and Kiryu’s presence ties the game to the long-running series that began as Yakuza. Players new to the series can still follow the story, but those who know earlier entries will recognise far more of the history behind both men.
Turn-Based Battles Where the Street Is Your Weapon
Combat in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Xbox is a fast-paced RPG battle system rather than real-time brawling. SEGA says the battlefield becomes your weapon and anything goes: objects around you can be used in a fight.
Your party’s skills change with outlandish jobs and customisations, so you adapt the team to each situation and subdue enemies with over-the-top moves. Expect a full RPG loop of levelling, equipment and job choices rather than a short action game.
Xbox Series X, Xbox One and Performance
The Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Xbox box lists Xbox Series X and Xbox One. Microsoft’s store page marks the game as Optimized for Xbox Series X|S with Smart Delivery, and lists 4K Ultra HD and 60 fps+ among its capabilities. Microsoft does not state which console or mode reaches those figures, so treat them as the best case on Series X rather than a promise for Xbox One.
Important for Series S owners: the Xbox Series S has no disc drive, so this physical copy cannot be used on it. Series S players need a digital purchase instead.
Languages, Voices and Rating
Microsoft’s listing shows English, Japanese and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) with full audio, interface and subtitles. German, French, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian are available for the interface and subtitles. Arabic is not supported in any form.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Xbox is a single-player game. The box carries PEGI 18, and Microsoft lists PEGI descriptors for bad language, gambling and violence, plus in-game purchases. The PEGI label marks this as the European-format packaging.
Who This Is Not For
The Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Xbox disc is not for Xbox Series S owners, because that console has no disc drive. It is also not for younger players: the PEGI 18 rating reflects violence, strong language and gambling content.
Anyone who needs Arabic menus or subtitles should look elsewhere, as Arabic is not supported. And if you prefer real-time action combat, the turn-based battles here may not suit you.
