What Comes in the Govee DreamView T1 Pro Kit
The Govee DreamView T1 Pro kit is four parts working together: an RGBIC LED strip that sticks to the back of the TV, a camera that mounts on the top edge of the screen, a control box that the strip and camera plug into, and two light bars that stand on the TV unit either side of the screen. A power adapter runs the set.
The light bars are what the Pro adds. They throw colour sideways and upwards from the furniture, so the effect spreads wider than a strip behind the panel can manage on its own.
How the Camera Colour Matching Works
Govee calls the system Envisual Color-Match technology. The camera looks at the screen, the control box works out the colours near each edge, and the RGBIC strip and light bars light up to match. RGBIC means the strip is split into segments that can each show a different colour at the same moment, so a sunset on one side of the frame and blue sky on the other can both reach the wall.
Because the Govee DreamView T1 Pro watches the screen instead of reading the HDMI signal, it is not tied to one input. The trade-off is that the camera has to see the whole picture clearly, so it needs to sit centrally on top of the TV and be kept clean.
Music Sync, Scenes and Voice Control
Govee lists combined video and audio syncing: the kit has a microphone, so when there is nothing on screen, or you want the lights to react to music, the strip and bars can follow the sound instead. There are also preset lighting effects in the Govee Home app for when the TV is off.
Voice control works through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, as shown on Govee’s box and listed among the features. Govee does not list Matter for the Govee DreamView T1 Pro, so we do not claim it.
TV Size and Installation
Govee rates the Govee DreamView T1 Pro for TVs from 55 to 65 inches and adds a note that it does not suit curved TVs. The strip is sized for that screen range, and a curved panel changes both the strip path and the camera’s view of the picture.
Installation needs no tools: the strip has adhesive backing, and the camera clips to the top of the screen. Plan the cable route before peeling the backing, because the adhesive is hard to reposition once it has set. If the TV is wall-mounted very close to the wall, check there is room behind it for the strip and the control box.

Not for rooms with strong glare on the screen. The camera reads the picture from above, so bright reflections on the panel can throw off the colour match.
Not for Matter-based smart homes. Govee lists Alexa and Google Assistant for this kit, not Matter.
