Amazon Echo Dot Max Bundle Amethyst – Echo Dot Max (2025) + Matching Made for Amazon Stand with USB-C Charging Ports

The Echo Dot Max Bundle Amethyst pairs Amazon’s Echo Dot Max (2025 release) in its purple Amethyst finish with the matching Made for Amazon Stand with USB-C charging ports. Put the speaker on the stand, connect the short jumper cable, and the stand charges your phone from the speaker’s own adapter, so one socket powers both. This page looks at the Echo Dot Max Bundle Amethyst as a bedside and desk set: how the colour looks in a bedroom, how the stand fits a nightstand routine, and what the sensors can do while you sleep and wake.

Echo Dot Max Bundle Amethyst: A Colour You Notice

Amethyst is the only colourful option in the Echo Dot Max range; the others are Graphite and Glacier White. In the Echo Dot Max Bundle Amethyst, the 3D knit fabric of the speaker and the stand beneath it share the same muted purple, so the set looks like a deliberate decor piece rather than a gadget. It suits bedrooms with lilac, grey, beige or wood tones, dressing tables and teenagers’ desks, and it makes an easy gift for someone who likes a touch of colour.

Purple fabric sits between the other two finishes for upkeep: it hides fingerprints better than Glacier White, while light dust shows a little more than on Graphite. A soft clothes brush or a lint roller once a week keeps the Echo Dot Max Bundle Amethyst looking fresh. Keep it out of direct sun on a windowsill if you want the colour to stay even over the years.

On the Nightstand: Charging While You Sleep

Amazon describes the stand as charging compatible tablets, phones and other USB-powered devices, providing up to 3A charge current per USB port, and removing the need for an extra power adapter. On a nightstand that means one plug in the wall powers the speaker and your phone overnight, with fewer chargers and cables around the bed.

Set-up takes no tools: place the Echo Dot Max on the stand and connect the jumper cable. Amazon lists the stand as the Made for Amazon Stand with USB-C charging ports for Echo Dot Max, sold on Amazon under the Mission Cables store, compatible only with the Echo Dot Max. Amazon does not state how many USB-C ports the stand has, its wattage or Power Delivery support, so the Echo Dot Max Bundle Amethyst is best treated as a slow, steady overnight charger rather than a fast one.

Bedroom Routines with Omnisense Sensors

The Echo Dot Max carries an ambient temperature sensor, an ambient light sensor, presence detection and an accelerometer for tap gestures, which Amazon groups under the name Omnisense. In a bedroom, the Echo Dot Max Bundle Amethyst opens up routines without a word: lights that come on when someone enters, a fan or air conditioner that reacts when the room warms past a set temperature, or a tap on the speaker to control playback.

Because the speaker is also a Zigbee, Matter and Thread Border Router hub, the smart bulbs and plugs you add to the bedroom can connect straight to the Echo Dot Max Bundle Amethyst without a separate hub.

Privacy in a Private Room

A speaker by the bed deserves a clear answer on microphones. The Echo Dot Max has a four-microphone array and a dedicated microphones enable/disable button that disconnects them; Amazon also lets you review and delete voice recordings in the Alexa app. Press the button at night if you prefer, and the Echo Dot Max Bundle Amethyst still charges your phone and plays music you start from your phone over Bluetooth.

The Rest, in Brief

Sound comes from a 0.8-inch tweeter and a 2.5-inch woofer in two-way mono, with an audio bandwidth of 53 Hz to 16 kHz at volume 6 and, per Amazon, nearly three times the bass of the Echo Dot (2022 release). The speaker in the Echo Dot Max Bundle Amethyst runs on an AZ3 chip with an AI accelerator, connects over Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth LE 5.3, measures 108.7 × 108.6 × 99.2 mm, weighs 505.3 g and comes with a 22W power adapter.

Who This Is Not For

Anyone relying on Alexa+ without a US account. Amazon states Alexa+ requires a US-based Amazon account, a device set to US English and a Prime membership or Alexa+ Standard plan. Amazon’s US page lists Alexa’s languages on this speaker as English and Spanish; Arabic is not listed.

Buyers who need confirmed power details before purchase. Amazon lists a 22W power adapter for the Echo Dot Max but does not publish its input voltage range or plug type.

People who want a bedside clock display or fast phone charging. Amazon does not list a clock display for the Echo Dot Max, and for the stand it confirms up to 3A per port only, with no wattage figure.

FAQ

Is the stand in the Echo Dot Max Bundle Amethyst also purple?

Yes. The bundle includes the Amethyst Echo Dot Max and the stand in Amethyst; Amazon also makes the stand in Graphite and Glacier White.

Can the Echo Dot Max Bundle Amethyst charge my phone overnight?

Yes. The stand’s USB-C ports provide up to 3A per port, powered through the speaker’s own adapter, so no extra charger is needed.

Does the Echo Dot Max show the time like a bedside clock?

No clock display is listed by Amazon for the Echo Dot Max. You can ask Alexa for the time or set alarms by voice.

Will the purple fabric fade or get dirty?

No special care is needed beyond a weekly brush or lint roller. Keeping it out of direct sun helps the colour stay even.

Can I turn the microphones off at night?

Yes. The microphones enable/disable button disconnects them, and the stand keeps charging your phone.

Does Alexa speak Arabic on this speaker?

No Arabic is listed. Amazon’s US page lists English and Spanish for this device.
