What the Anker SOLIX C200 DC Is For
Most USB power banks top out around 100Wh, the usual airline limit, and full power stations with AC sockets weigh several kilograms. The Anker SOLIX C200 DC sits between the two: 192Wh of capacity in a 100 × 110 × 185 mm body weighing 1.9 kg. Anker describes it as 39% smaller than similar power stations, and a shoulder strap is sold separately.
Because every output is USB, it suits modern kit that already charges over USB-C: MacBooks and Windows laptops, iPads, phones, camera batteries in USB chargers, drone battery hubs, portable fans and LED lanterns. Anything with a three-pin plug needs a different product, such as a SOLIX model with AC outlets.
Ports and Output
Five ports share a 200W maximum. On the USB-C side there is one 140W port, one 100W port and one 15W port; on the USB-A side there are two 12W ports. The 140W port is also the charging input, marked C3 140W IN/OUT on the unit, and supports USB PD 3.1, so a 16-inch MacBook Pro or a 140W-capable Windows laptop can charge at full speed from it.
When several devices are plugged in, the combined draw cannot exceed 200W. A practical split is a laptop on the 140W port, a tablet or second laptop on the 100W port, and phones or earbuds on the smaller ports. Anker does not publish runtime estimates per device, and real runtime depends on each device’s own charging losses.
Recharging: USB-C and Solar
The Anker SOLIX C200 DC has no built-in charger and none is included in the box. Any USB-C PD charger rated at 18W (9V/2A) or more will work, but full speed needs a 140W charger: with one, Anker rates a recharge to 80% in about 1.3 hours. A 65W laptop charger works too, just more slowly.
For off-grid trips, the XT60 input accepts solar panels between 11 and 28V at up to 8.2A, for a maximum of 100W. Anker recommends its own 100W panel and lists the SOLIX PS30 (and other 5V/3A USB-C panels), PS200 and PS400 as not compatible. Car and solar charging cables are sold separately.
LiFePO4 Battery Life
Anker uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells and rates the Anker SOLIX C200 DC for 3,000 cycles. LFP chemistry is heavier per watt-hour than the lithium-ion cells in ordinary power banks, but it tolerates far more charge cycles, which matters if you charge it several times a week.
Using the Anker SOLIX C200 DC in the UAE
Anker rates the discharging range at -20°C to 40°C and the charging range at 0°C to 40°C. UAE summer afternoons, and the inside of a parked car, go well beyond that, so keep the unit in shade, in an air-conditioned space or in a cool bag on beach and desert trips, and avoid charging it in direct sun even when using solar: place the panel in the sun and the power station in the shade.

Who This Is Not For
Anyone who needs to run a fridge, a kettle, a CPAP machine or anything with a normal wall plug: there is no AC outlet and no car-style 12V socket. And anyone planning to fly with it: 192Wh is above the 100Wh level most airlines allow without approval, so check with your airline before packing it. There is also no built-in light.
