LEGO 2K Drive PS4 Standard Edition – Open-World LEGO Racing, Build Cars and Boats Brick by Brick, 2-Player Split-Screen – PAL R2 Disc

The LEGO 2K Drive PS4 Standard Edition brings the open-world LEGO racing game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K, launched worldwide on 19 May 2023. Set in Bricklandia, it mixes road racing, off-road driving and water racing across several biome regions. You build your own vehicles brick by brick from more than 1,000 LEGO pieces collected on your adventure, then race rivals in the story to win the Sky Trophy. Play solo, with a friend on local split-screen, or online. Rated PEGI 7, it is a family racer built around creativity.

From Rookie to Bricklandia Champion

LEGO 2K Drive follows a rookie racer on the way to the top of Bricklandia’s racing scene. According to the PlayStation Store description, Story mode sees you rise through a series of rival racers on the road to the Sky Trophy, where the reigning champion Shadow Z waits. Along the way you explore open areas such as Turbo Acres, Big Butte County and Prospecto Valley. The LEGO Group describes multiple unique biome regions filled with racing, minigames, challenges, collectibles and destructible objects. The tone is light and full of LEGO humour, with colourful characters and vehicles from LEGO themes such as City, Creator and Speed Champions. The cover cars are the McLaren Solus GT and McLaren F1 LM, both built from LEGO bricks.

Race, Explore and Build in the Garage

Racing in LEGO 2K Drive takes place on a broad range of tracks, with power-up abilities that add arcade action to each race. Away from the track, Bricklandia is an open world where you drive freely, complete side missions and minigames, and smash objects for fun. Your vehicle handles road, off-road and water sections. The Garage is the creative heart of the game: you build and modify cars and boats brick by brick, with guided builds to help new builders. The LEGO Group states that players can use more than 1,000 LEGO pieces collected during the adventure, plus colours, stickers and flairs, to make vehicles their own. Younger players can stick to guided builds, while experienced builders can design complete custom machines.

Story, Split-Screen and Online

Offline, LEGO 2K Drive supports 1-2 players, including local two-player split-screen, according to Sony’s store. Online play supports up to six players with crossplay and requires PlayStation Plus. Important: 2K has announced that digital sales, including Coins and DLC, ended on 19 May 2026, and online services end on 31 May 2027. 2K confirms that Story Mode and Local Split-Screen Multiplayer stay playable after that date. Online features also require a 13+ online account, according to The LEGO Group. The game is rated PEGI 7 for violence and ESRB E10+.

PAL R2 Disc, PS4 and PS5

This is a new, sealed physical PS4 Standard Edition disc for the PAL (R2) region, covering Europe and the Middle East. PS4 games are region-free, so it plays on any PS4 in the UAE. Sony’s store notes the PS4 version can run on PS5, though some PS4 features may be missing; use a PS5 with a disc drive. Covered by a 1-year warranty from Totot. Delivered across the UAE in up to 3 business days, free on orders from AED 300.

Who This Is Not For

Players who want long-term online racing: 2K will shut down online services on 31 May 2027, and digital Coins and DLC are no longer sold since 19 May 2026. The Standard Edition does not include the Year 1 Drive Pass content. Online play needs PlayStation Plus. Racing fans looking for realistic handling will find the arcade physics and power-ups too light.
