Silent Hill Townfall PS5 is the Day One Edition of SILENT HILL: Townfall, a new entry in Konami’s horror series developed by Screen Burn Interactive. PlayStation describes it as a full-length, self-contained psychological horror set against the cold, isolated backdrop of Scotland in 1996. It is a different game from Silent Hill f and from the Silent Hill 2 remake; you do not need to have played any earlier Silent Hill to follow it.

Silent Hill Townfall PS5: The Story
You play Simon Ordell, who returns to the island of St. Amelia to put things right, according to PlayStation’s store description. He finds the town lying quiet beneath a heavy fog, seemingly abandoned but not at rest. As Simon digs into fragments of a past rising to the surface, reality and delusion subtly intertwine.
Konami and PlayStation frame Silent Hill Townfall PS5 around themes of introspection, loss and consequence. It is a standalone story: the island, the cast and the mystery are new, which makes it an easy entry point into the series.
First Person, With a CRTV in Your Hands
Silent Hill Townfall PS5 is played entirely in first person. PlayStation lists a limited set of weapons and tools, including the CRTV, a pocket television used to tune into unstable signals. The CRTV also guides narrative-driven puzzles, so much of the game is about listening, searching and working out what the signals mean.
Combat exists but is not the focus. PlayStation describes strategic stealth and combat with melee weapons and firearms, and the limited arsenal means avoiding a fight is often the smarter choice.
Multiple Endings
PlayStation states that Silent Hill Townfall PS5 has multiple endings shaped by the player’s actions. That gives the game a reason to be replayed once you know where the story goes, and it rewards players who explore carefully rather than rushing to the exit.
Konami has not published an official playtime figure on the pages we checked, so we do not quote one.
What the Day One Edition Is
The box is printed Day One Edition above the Silent Hill Townfall logo, and it carries the Konami and Annapurna logos with a PEGI 16 label. It is the launch-period retail packaging of the standard game on disc.
Konami’s official pages that we could access do not list any extra items for the Day One Edition, so we do not promise any bonus content with this copy. The Deluxe Edition sold on PlayStation Store, which adds a bonus application and an alternate outfit for Simon, is a separate digital product and is not what this box contains.
PS5 Features, Players and Languages
PlayStation’s UAE page marks Silent Hill Townfall PS5 as PS5 Pro Enhanced and lists DualSense vibration and trigger effect support. It is a 1-player game with offline play enabled, so no internet connection or subscription is needed to play it.
Voices are in English. On-screen text is listed in Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish and Spanish (Mexico). Arabic is not listed. PlayStation does not publish a resolution or frame-rate figure for the PS5 version on the pages we checked.
Who This Is Not For
Silent Hill Townfall PS5 is not for younger players: the box carries PEGI 16, and PlayStation’s UAE listing rates it 18. Players who need Arabic menus or subtitles will not find Arabic in the listed languages.
It is also a poor fit if you want fast action. Fights are limited and tense, much of the game is exploration and puzzles, and there is no multiplayer of any kind. If you prefer a remake of a classic, our Silent Hill 2 PS5 page covers that game.
