The MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete Robot Vacuum is a robot vacuum with a roller mop instead of spinning pads. MOVA lists 36,000Pa of suction, a 270mm roller fed with running water under constant pressure, hot-water washing at up to 100°C and a 4L dust bag. It crosses single steps up to 4.8cm and two-step thresholds up to 9cm. This is the EU version.
Table of Contents
HydroForce 2.0 roller mop
MOVA lists a 270mm extra-wide microfibre roller spinning at 800 RPM, pressed down at 5,000Pa (about 18 N), with clean running water fed in and dirty water drawn out as it cleans. MOVA says the roller is fluffed in real time so the fibres keep scrubbing.
On rugs, AutoShield lifts the roller and brush and seals away moisture. The roller lifts 13mm and the side brush 10mm, and MaxiReach 2.0 extends the roller by up to 52mm to reach edges and corners.
Suction and hair
MOVA rates the MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete Robot Vacuum at up to 36,000Pa. For hair, MOVA lists a four-layer anti-tangle design: the TroboWave DuoBrush, an anti-tangle side brush, an anti-wrap roller shaft and an anti-wrap omni-wheel.
Thresholds and navigation
MOVA gives two crossing figures: 4.8cm for a single step and 9cm for a two-step threshold, using its StepMaster 2.0 lifting legs. A single step higher than 4.8cm will still stop it.
Navigation uses FlexScope with a retractable DToF sensor, dual 3D structured light and an RGB camera, and MOVA lists recognition of more than 300 obstacles. The robot is 96mm tall with the sensor retracted and 119.6mm with it raised.
The base station
The base station washes the roller with water at up to 100°C, with room temperature, 45°C and 60°C modes too, then dries it with hot air at up to 70°C. It holds a 4L dust bag, which MOVA rates at 125 days, a 5.5L clean water tank and a 4.5L used water tank.
The base station measures 420 × 432 × 500mm. MOVA lists a 6400mAh battery and up to 250 square metres per charge.
App and voice
The MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete Robot Vacuum works with the MOVAhome app for mapping, no-go zones and remote start. MOVA lists built-in and third-party voice control, and pet waste detection.
Who the MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete Robot Vacuum is not for
It is not for homes with single steps higher than 4.8cm, because 9cm only applies to two-step thresholds. It is not for spaces that cannot fit a 420 × 432 × 500mm base station, and it needs roller mops, dust bags and solution replaced over time.
If you prefer spinning mop pads that swap by room, see the MOVA Mobius 60, or browse all our vacuums and cleaning.
