The MOVA Mobius 60 Robot Vacuum Black is a robot vacuum and mop whose base station swaps between three types of mop pad on its own. MopSwap: three mop types, chosen for you
MOVA lists three mop pad types: ThermoHold for kitchens and grease, Plush for wood and delicate floors, and HyperClean for general use. The robot detects the room and the base station fits the pad it picks. The box includes 12 pads, with 3 pairs pre-installed.
The mops spin at 260 RPM with 12 N of downward pressure. The FlexiPress holder floats 2 mm up and 1 mm down and tilts up to 5 degrees for uneven floors.
Suction and carpets
MOVA rates the MOVA Mobius 60 Robot Vacuum Black at up to 30,000Pa of suction. When it detects carpet, a pressure-retention baffle lowers to seal in more suction, and the mops lift by 10.5 mm.
For hair, MOVA lists three anti-tangle measures: the TroboWave DuoBrush, an anti-tangle side brush and an anti-wrap omni-wheel.
Thresholds and navigation
MOVA gives two crossing figures: 5 cm for a single step and 80 mm for a two-step threshold. So a single step higher than 5 cm will still stop it.
Navigation uses FlexScope with a retractable DToF sensor, and MOVA lists recognition of more than 240 obstacle types. The robot is 89.5 mm tall with the sensor lowered and 111.5 mm with it raised, so check the gap under your sofa and beds.
The base station
The base station washes the mop pads on a 100°C PTC washboard, and MOVA lists UV sterilisation and automatic drying. It holds a 3.2 L dust bag, a clean water tank of at least 5.5 L and a 4.0 L dirty water tank.
The DuoSolution module doses cleaning solution automatically. The base station measures 416 × 467 × 589 mm, so measure the spot before ordering.
Battery and app
The battery is 6,400 mAh, according to MOVA. MOVA does not publish a runtime figure on the product page. The robot has a built-in voice assistant that responds to “Hey, MOVA”, and the MOVAhome app shows a real-time 3D map.
Who the MOVA Mobius 60 Robot Vacuum Black is not for
It is not for homes with single steps higher than 5 cm between rooms, because 8 cm only applies to two-step thresholds. It is not for small flats with no room for a 416 × 467 × 589 mm base station.
