Xiaomi states plainly that the Xiaomi Sport Water Bottle does not contain bisphenol A and does not produce or release it. That second half is the part worth reading twice. Plenty of plastics are BPA-free on the day they are made and leach other compounds once they are heated. Tritan is specified as resistant to high temperature, impact and corrosion, which is why Xiaomi describes it as infant milk bottle grade.
The published temperature range is -10C to +95C. Ninety-five degrees is near boiling, so hot drinks are within specification, and the low end means it survives a freezer. In the UAE the number that matters is the top one: a bottle left in a parked car in July gets genuinely hot, and a cheap plastic bottle in that situation is the one that starts tasting of plastic.
Xiaomi also rates the bottle at impact resistance Category B. What we will not do is tell you it is dishwasher safe, because Xiaomi does not publish a dishwasher statement for it. Wash it by hand and you will never have to find out.

We are repeating that as Xiaomi’s claim rather than as a test we ran, but the construction described, a full-circumference gasket plus a threaded lid rather than a clip, is the design that normally delivers it.
The Xiaomi Sport Water Bottle handle is soft silicone rather than hard plastic. That sounds cosmetic and is not: hard plastic handles on litre bottles are the ones that crack at the hinge, and a full litre of water is a kilo hanging off that point.
