The KingSmith WalkingPad A1 Pro is a fold-in-half walking pad for slow, steady walking under a standing desk or in front of the TV, with a top speed of 6 km/h and a 1200 x 415 mm walking area. This unit is the EU version, model WPA1F Pro, rated for 220–240 V on KingSmith’s European store, and it comes with a European two-pin plug, so in the UAE you need a plug adapter for a UK three-pin socket. It is in stock in the UAE and ships from Totot.

What the WalkingPad A1 Pro is
The A1 Pro is one of KingSmith’s original WalkingPad designs: a slim, low deck with no handrail and no upright, made for walking rather than running. The user manual from Beijing Kingsmith Technology Co., Ltd. lists the model as WPA1F Pro, and KingSmith’s European store sells it as the WalkingPad A1 Pro Under Desk Treadmill in black. The speed runs from 0.5 to 6 km/h, so it covers a gentle stroll during a call up to a brisk walk between meetings.
The WalkingPad A1 Pro arrives fully assembled. There is no frame to build and no console to bolt on, so you unfold it, plug it in and start walking. The walking area is 1200 mm long and 415 mm wide, which gives room for a normal walking stride at desk height.

WalkingPad A1 Pro EU version: plug and UAE power
This is the European version of the WalkingPad A1 Pro. KingSmith’s EU store lists it for 220–240 V, and the WPA1F Pro manual gives a rated input of 918 W at 220 V, 50 Hz. UAE mains power is 220–240 V at 50 Hz, so the voltage matches and no transformer is needed.
The plug is the only thing to plan for. The cable ends in a European two-pin plug, while UAE wall sockets take the UK three-pin type. Use a good-quality, earthed EU-to-UK adapter rated for at least 10 A and plug it straight into the wall rather than into a cheap extension strip. Do not cut the cable or change the plug yourself, because that is the kind of change that causes faults on a motorised machine.
FootSense and the three modes
The manual lists three modes: standby, manual and automatic. In manual mode you set the speed with the remote or the KS Fit app. In automatic mode KingSmith’s FootSense sensors read where you are on the belt: step towards the front and the belt speeds up, drift back and it slows down, move to the rear and it slows to a stop. KingSmith describes this as walking naturally without pressing buttons.
Standby keeps the belt from starting by accident when nobody is using the WalkingPad A1 Pro, which is useful in a home with children or pets. For the first few sessions, stay in manual mode until you are used to the deck, then switch to automatic once your pace is steady.

Folding the WalkingPad A1 Pro and storing it
The deck of the WalkingPad A1 Pro folds in half on a central hinge. KingSmith lists the unfolded size as 1432 x 547 x 129 mm and the folded size as 822 x 547 x 129 mm, so folded it is about the length of a small coffee table and only 129 mm high. That fits under many sofas and beds. Wheels at the front let you tip it up and roll it into place.
KingSmith’s EU store gives the net weight as 28.5 kg (31.5 kg packed); the WPA1F Pro manual gives 27 kg. Either way it is a two-hand lift for most people, so roll it rather than carry it up stairs.
Display, remote and KS Fit
An LED display in the deck of the WalkingPad A1 Pro shows your time, speed and calories burned. The small remote, carried on the included wristband, starts and stops the belt and changes the speed. The free KS Fit app connects over Bluetooth, keeps your history and runs programs that change the speed for you. KingSmith also lists Kinomap support and Apple Watch heart rate in KS Fit when the watch and an iPhone are paired.

Motor, cushioning and load rating
KingSmith fits a brushless motor and rates the noise under 65 dB, quiet enough for a video call or a TV show. The horsepower figure differs between official pages: the EU store says 3.75 HP and kingsmith.com says 1.25 HP, neither stating continuous or peak. The deck uses an EVA and PET shock-absorbing layer that KingSmith calls SoftStep.
The load rating also differs. KingSmith’s stores list 105 kg and 136 kg options for the A1 Pro without saying which batch is which, and the WPA1F Pro manual gives a maximum load of 100 kg. Treat 100 kg as the safe limit for this unit.

Who This Is Not For
The WalkingPad A1 Pro is not for running or jogging: its top speed is 6 km/h. There is no handrail, so it does not suit anyone who needs something to hold for balance. There is no incline. Users above 100 kg should pick a model with a higher rating, such as the WalkingPad R3 (120 kg per KingSmith). And if you do not want to use a plug adapter at all, choose a model sold with a UK plug.
