The PULSE Elite White is Sony’s wireless headset for PS5, launched on 21 February 2024. It uses planar magnetic drivers, connects over PlayStation Link for lossless, low-latency audio and over Bluetooth for your phone at the same time, and Sony rates it for up to 30 hours per charge. A retractable boom mic with AI noise rejection and a charging hanger complete the set. This is the UAE version.

Planar magnetic drivers
Planar magnetic drivers are usually found in higher-end hi-fi headphones. Sony uses them here for clean detail and low distortion, and on PS5 they work with Tempest 3D Audio, which places footsteps and effects around you. The white-and-black finish matches the PS5 and the white DualSense.
PlayStation Link and Bluetooth together
The included PlayStation Link USB adapter plugs into a PS5, PC or Mac and gives lossless, low-latency audio; the PlayStation Portal has PlayStation Link built in. Bluetooth pairs with a phone at the same time, so you can take a call or hear a message without leaving the game. A 3.5 mm jack covers wired use.
The retractable mic
The boom slides out when you need it and hides when you do not. Sony uses AI-enhanced noise rejection to cut keyboard clicks and room noise, and there is a mute button with an indicator light.
Battery and the charging hanger
Sony rates the battery at up to 30 hours, and ten minutes of charging gives up to two hours. The charging hanger mounts on a desk or wall and charges the headset when you hang it up, which also keeps it off the desk. Mounting screws are not included.
Who This Is Not For
It has no active noise cancellation, so it does not block a noisy room the way ANC headphones do. Xbox consoles are not supported. Sony does not publish the weight. And on PC, lossless audio needs the PlayStation Link adapter in a USB port.
