Sony dressed this edition in the grey colourway of the 1994 console, complete with the original four-colour PlayStation logo and the 30th anniversary mark embossed as a fine repeating pattern across the shell. The bundled USB-C cable carries a thick connector housing that deliberately mimics the look of the old PlayStation controller cable, and the packaging echoes the original console box. Every detail was chosen to trigger recognition rather than simply apply a logo.
