OnePlus Nord 6 Fresh Mint – 12GB+256GB, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, 6.78-inch 165Hz AMOLED, 7500mAh, 80W Charging

The OnePlus Nord 6 Fresh Mint is the light green version of OnePlus’s Nord 6, here with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Inside sits a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, driving a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED that refreshes at up to 165Hz, a 7500mAh battery (the figure OnePlus lists on its global page) and 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging. The pale mint back is the only thing separating it from the Pitch Black model; the hardware is identical. It is a phone aimed at people who play fast games, keep a phone for years and want a calmer colour than the usual black slab.

What the Fresh Mint finish looks like day to day

Fresh Mint is a soft, pale green rather than a saturated one, so the OnePlus Nord 6 Fresh Mint reads as light and clean on a desk and pairs easily with white, grey or clear cases. A lighter back hides smudges and fine fingerprints better than a dark gloss finish, which is useful in UAE heat when hands are rarely dry. The trade-off is that a light colour shows dust in the camera surround and stains on the frame edges sooner, so a quick wipe now and then keeps it looking new. If you plan to use a clear case, the mint shows through well; with an opaque case the colour choice barely matters at all.

A 165Hz AMOLED and the conditions behind 165 FPS

The screen is a 6.78-inch AMOLED at 2772 x 1272 (OnePlus calls it 1.5K), 450 ppi, 10-bit colour and up to 165Hz. OnePlus quotes 1800 nits of HDR brightness, which is a peak figure on HDR content, not a full-screen level held in sunlight. It also lists 3840Hz PWM dimming for people sensitive to flicker at low brightness, and Aqua Touch 2.0 for wet-finger use. The 165 FPS gaming claim is real but conditional: OnePlus tested it at 25°C ±1°C on a 12GB unit, with Pro Gamer mode, specific in-game settings and the display at 280 nits. In warmer rooms or other titles, expect the frame rate to settle lower as the phone heats up.

Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 with LPDDR5X and UFS 4.1

The OnePlus Nord 6 Fresh Mint runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, an 8-series chip from Qualcomm, paired with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage. In everyday use that means apps open quickly, large game updates install fast and 4K 60fps video can be recorded without stutter. With 12GB of RAM, a browser, messaging apps, maps and a game can stay open together without constant reloads. The 256GB of storage is fixed: OnePlus does not list a microSD slot, so choose this capacity only if 256GB covers your photos, videos and games. OnePlus also mentions a custom Wi-Fi chip it calls Range Rocket and 5G support, but it does not publish a Wi-Fi generation or Bluetooth version on the global page.

7500mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC charging

OnePlus’s global page lists a 7500mAh silicon-carbon battery for the Nord 6, with 80W wired SUPERVOOC charging and 6.5W reverse wired charging for topping up earbuds or a watch. OnePlus’s battery and charging results come from its own test lab at 25°C ±1°C with default settings, and the company notes that real battery life depends on network, apps and usage habits. Full 80W speed needs the OnePlus adapter and cable; an ordinary USB-C charger still works, just more slowly. OnePlus also claims the cell retains more than 80% capacity after five years, based on one charge a day. There is no wireless charging on the OnePlus Nord 6 Fresh Mint.

Cameras: 50MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, 32MP front

The main camera uses a 50MP Sony LYTIA sensor with dual-axis optical image stabilisation, autofocus and 2x in-sensor zoom, which crops the centre of the sensor rather than using a separate lens. Beside it is an 8MP ultra-wide with a 112° field of view, fine for groups and buildings in good light but clearly weaker than the main camera at night. The front camera is 32MP with a multi-focus sensor and a 90° field of view, and video records at up to 4K 60fps. There is no telephoto camera, so zoom beyond 2x is digital and loses detail quickly.

IP69K protection and six years of security updates

OnePlus rates the OnePlus Nord 6 Fresh Mint IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K, covering dust, immersion and high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. As with any phone, this is resistance, not waterproofing: resistance can drop with wear and liquid damage is normally not a warranty item, so avoid the sea, pools and hot showers with it. On software, it ships with OxygenOS 16, and OnePlus promises 4 Android OS updates and 6 years of security updates, which matters more than any spec if you keep phones for a long time.

Who This Is Not For

The OnePlus Nord 6 Fresh Mint is not for you if you need optical zoom, because there is no telephoto lens and anything past 2x is a digital crop. It does not charge wirelessly, so desk and car pads are out. Storage cannot be expanded beyond 256GB. OnePlus does not publish its weight or dimensions on the global page, so if a light, compact phone matters to you, check it in hand first: a 6.78-inch screen and a 7500mAh battery do not make a small phone. And if you prefer a phone that does not stand out, the Pitch Black model is a quieter choice than the OnePlus Nord 6 Fresh Mint.

OnePlus Nord 6 Fresh Mint FAQ

Is the OnePlus Nord 6 Fresh Mint different inside from the Pitch Black model?

No. OnePlus lists the same chip, memory, screen, battery and cameras for both colours; only the back finish changes.

Does the Fresh Mint back show fingerprints?

No, not much. A pale matte-looking finish hides smudges better than dark gloss, though dust in the camera surround is more visible on a light colour.

What battery does the OnePlus Nord 6 Fresh Mint have?

7500mAh, as listed on the OnePlus global page, with 80W wired SUPERVOOC charging and 6.5W reverse wired charging.

Can the OnePlus Nord 6 Fresh Mint really run games at 165 FPS?

Yes, under OnePlus’s test conditions: 25°C ±1°C, Pro Gamer mode, set graphics options and 280 nits brightness in PUBG and CODM. In hotter rooms or other games the frame rate will usually be lower.

Does the OnePlus Nord 6 Fresh Mint support wireless charging?

No. Charging is wired only, at up to 80W with the OnePlus adapter and cable.

How long will it get updates?

6 years of security updates and 4 Android OS updates, according to OnePlus, starting from OxygenOS 16.

Is the OnePlus Nord 6 Fresh Mint waterproof?

No. It is rated IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K for water and dust resistance, which is not the same as waterproof, and liquid damage is normally not covered.

Is it genuine?

Yes. We sell the genuine OnePlus Nord 6 Fresh Mint, brand-new in its sealed box.

How long does delivery take?

3 business days at most across the UAE. Orders from AED 300 ship free, and the checkout page shows any current fee for your order.
