The HONOR X6d 5G is HONOR’s entry-level 5G phone with a big battery and a lot of storage for the price. This Ocean Cyan model pairs a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a 6.75-inch 90Hz screen, a 50MP main camera and a 5260mAh (typical) battery. One figure needs explaining up front: the “4GB+4GB” on the box means 4GB of physical RAM plus 4GB of virtual memory that HONOR RAM Turbo borrows from storage — not 8GB of real RAM.

HONOR X6d 5G Memory: What 4GB+4GB Really Means
The HONOR X6d 5G has 4GB of physical RAM. HONOR RAM Turbo sets aside part of the internal storage as virtual memory, which HONOR says expands the 4GB to an 8GB “equivalence”. Virtual memory helps keep more apps open in the background, but storage is slower than real RAM, so it does not make the phone behave like an 8GB model in games or heavy multitasking. HONOR itself notes that actual experience varies with usage.
Storage is the stronger side: 256GB internal, with part of it used by the system, and a microSD slot that accepts cards up to 1TB (card sold separately). HONOR also lists 4GB+128GB and 6GB+256GB versions of the HONOR X6d 5G; this listing is the 4GB+256GB model.
Display: 6.75 Inches, 90Hz, HD+
The screen is a 6.75-inch TFT LCD with a resolution of 720 × 1600 and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. HONOR notes that the actual refresh rate varies by app and game, and it measures the 6.75 inches as a full rectangle, so the viewable area with rounded corners is slightly smaller. Typical brightness is 450 nits, the cover glass is aluminosilicate, and HONOR includes Eye Comfort and Dynamic Dimming modes.
HD+ on a 6.75-inch panel is fine for social apps and video, but text is less crisp than on Full HD screens, and 450 nits is modest under strong UAE sun.
Performance and Software
The HONOR X6d 5G runs a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core chip (two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz) with an ARM G57 MC2 GPU. It handles messaging, browsing, maps and streaming smoothly and runs casual games; demanding 3D titles need lower settings. HONOR’s UAE spec page lists Android 16 with MagicOS 10, including the Magic Capsule, knuckle screenshots, a side fingerprint sensor in the power button and face unlock.
Battery and Charging
HONOR rates the battery at 5260mAh typical (5130mAh rated). In HONOR’s lab tests it managed 21 hours of social media browsing, and a 4.5-hour call from 10% charge; HONOR also states the cells kept more than 87% capacity after 1,000 cycles at 25°C. These are lab figures, so real use will differ. Charging is 15W wired, and HONOR lists a 15W adapter in the box, noting that contents depend on the market.
Cameras
On the back of the HONOR X6d 5G is a 50MP main camera at f/1.8 with a single LED flash, plus a 0.08MP QVGA auxiliary sensor. HONOR explains that full 50MP photos (8160 × 6112) are taken in High-Res mode; other modes produce smaller files. Video on both cameras tops out at 1080p. The front camera is 5MP at f/2.2. Modes include Portrait, Pro, Slow-Mo, Time-lapse and AI Camera.
Connectivity
The HONOR X6d 5G supports 5G, 4G, 3G and 2G with two nano SIM cards, dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 5.3 with SBC, AAC, LDAC, aptX and aptX HD, and GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS positioning. It keeps a 3.5 mm headphone jack and uses USB-C (USB 2.0). HONOR lists NFC only for model codes Nala-N31B and Nala-N32E, so NFC depends on the exact variant, and HONOR does not publish a water or dust (IP) rating for this phone.
Why Ocean Cyan
Ocean Cyan is the lighter of the two HONOR X6d 5G colours, a pale mint-blue that looks fresh without being loud. It hides fingerprints better than a dark finish and pairs well with clear or white cases. HONOR includes a clear TPU case in the box, which keeps the colour visible while protecting the back. Midnight Black is the other option if you prefer a plain phone.
Who This Is Not For
Skip the HONOR X6d 5G if you play demanding games — 4GB of physical RAM and the Dimensity 6300 are entry-level. It is also not for anyone who wants a sharp Full HD screen, fast charging above 15W, or a stated water-resistance rating. And if you need contactless payments, check that your unit is an NFC variant before relying on it.
