Life is Strange Reunion: Three Days Before the Fire
Square Enix sets up the story in a few lines. Chloe Price was Max Caulfield’s partner in time, and losing her is Max’s greatest regret. Now Chloe has come to Caledon University, haunted by nightmares and impossible memories, and she needs Max’s help.
Max is already in crisis. In three days a deadly inferno will destroy the campus, and her Rewind power has bought her time, but she cannot stop the blaze alone. The fire forces both of them into devastating decisions, and the question the game keeps asking is whether they can find a future together before everything burns.
Playing as Max and Chloe
Life is Strange Reunion splits the story between two playable characters. As Max, the Rewind power returns: you can undo and redo decisions, change the course of conversations and manipulate the environment to solve what Square Enix calls four-dimensional puzzles.
As Chloe, you work differently. PlayStation describes her as relying on wits, guile and barbed put-downs, and Square Enix’s store calls her Backtalk-wielding. You use her to investigate her own nightmares and dig into the mysteries around the campus, so the two halves of Life is Strange Reunion feel distinct in how you solve problems.
Choices, Consequences and the Soundtrack
Decisions carry real weight here. You have to work out who is responsible before friends die in the blaze, and PlayStation states plainly that survival depends on your choices. Which characters make it to the end of Life is Strange Reunion changes with the path you take.
Music has always been part of the series, and Reunion keeps that with an original score plus a mix of nostalgic and contemporary licensed tracks. Separately, a digital Deluxe Edition adds a mini soundtrack, an art book, a comic and a behind-the-scenes documentary; those extras are not part of this standard disc.
