The Kingdom Come Deliverance PS4 game is a story-driven, first-person open-world RPG developed by Warhorse Studios and published by Deep Silver, released on 13 February 2018. Set in medieval Bohemia during the Late Middle Ages, it follows Henry, a blacksmith’s son whose village is burned and parents killed by a mercenary raid. Deep Silver says the game has won over 30 global awards. It is known for realism over fantasy: no dragons or magic, just swords, armour and hard-won skill. This is a new, sealed PAL (R2) disc.

From Blacksmith’s Son to Knight
Henry starts as an ordinary young man in a quiet Bohemian village, learning his father’s trade as a blacksmith. When a mercenary raid burns his village and kills his parents, he barely survives and enters the service of a local lord, driven by a wish for revenge. Deep Silver describes him as starting with courage but no skills, forced to prove himself in a brutal Late Middle Ages world torn by civil war. The story mixes personal revenge with the larger conflict of the period, and your actions shape how people see Henry. Warhorse built its version of Bohemia around real history, so castles, villages and many characters are grounded in historical research rather than fantasy, which gives the adventure a strong sense of time and place.
Realistic Combat and a Living Bohemia
At the start, Henry has never held a sword, and the game makes you feel it. According to Deep Silver, you train in arenas, practise combos and choose between longswords, axes, maces or archery, with first-person melee that rewards timing and positioning rather than button mashing. The open world lets you conquer castles, save villages from plague and uncover many side stories. Your skills grow through use: the more you fight, ride, talk or read, the better Henry becomes at it. You need to eat, rest and keep your gear in good shape, and your reputation affects how characters treat you. The result is a slower, more demanding RPG that rewards patience and players who enjoy living a role rather than racing through it.
Players, Offline Play and DLC
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a single-player game for 1 player, and the PlayStation Store lists offline play as enabled, so no internet connection is needed to play the story. There is no multiplayer. The disc contains the base game; the official story add-ons From the Ashes, The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon, Band of Bastards, A Woman’s Lot and Treasures of the Past are sold separately on the PlayStation Store or come with the Royal Edition. A Woman’s Lot, for example, follows Theresa and her dog Tinker in a separate story.

Who This Is Not For
This is a slow, demanding RPG: combat is hard to learn, and Henry starts with almost no skills, which can frustrate players wanting quick action. There is no multiplayer. On PS4, voice acting is English only, and Arabic is not among the listed text languages. The DLC stories are not on the disc. It is rated PEGI 18 for violence and strong language, so it is not for children.
