Fujifilm Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Pastel Blue – Instant Camera Gift Set, Auto Exposure, Close-Up Mode

The Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Pastel Blue is Fujifilm’s INSTAX mini 12 in a calm powder-blue shell, sold in the gift box with the extras you need to start shooting. It weighs 306 grams without batteries, strap and film, runs on two AA cells and ejects a print in about five seconds. That makes it an easy camera to pack for a trip: no charger, no cable and no settings to remember.

Pastel Blue: The Colour and Who Picks It

Pastel Blue is a pale sky tone, cooler than Mint Green and less sweet than Blossom Pink. It suits people who want an instant camera that looks playful without leaning pink, which makes it an easy choice for boys, couples and a shared family camera.

All five colours come in the same pink, sticker-covered gift box. What changes is the camera you see on the front, here the blue one.

Taking the Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Pastel Blue on a Trip

Travel is where the mini 12’s simplicity pays off. There is nothing to charge in a hotel room, AA batteries are sold in every supermarket and airport shop, and Fujifilm rates a fresh pair at about ten packs of film. The protective case listed on the box keeps sand and scratches off the body in a beach bag.

Bright outdoor light is the one condition worth understanding. Automatic exposure covers LV 5.0 to 14.5 at ISO 800, and the flash fires on every frame. On a white beach at noon, keep the sun behind you or step into shade; portraits against a bright sky usually print better in the softer light of morning and late afternoon.

Pack film for the whole trip before you leave. Each pack is 10 prints, and holiday photos go faster than people expect.

Prints as Souvenirs

On holiday, the print is the souvenir. Photograph the dinner table, hand one print to the friends you travelled with and keep another for the album that comes in the Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Pastel Blue. The image area is 62 × 46 mm on a credit-card-sized sheet, small enough to slip into a passport cover or a phone case.

If you also want a backup of the trip, Fujifilm’s free instax UP! app scans prints into your phone, so the collection does not live only on paper.

What Is in the Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Pastel Blue

Fujifilm does not publish this gift box’s contents on its website, nor the number of film sheets inside, so we do not quote a number. The contents panel printed on the box lists the INSTAX mini 12 camera, a protective case, INSTAX mini film and an INSTAX album, and Fujifilm’s user’s guide refers to a strap and trial batteries supplied with the camera. Gift boxes differ by country, so another region’s box may list different extras.

Keeping the Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Pastel Blue Clean

Pastel Blue hides everyday dust better than Clay White, but sunscreen and sand still mark a pale finish. Wipe the body with a soft dry cloth, keep grit out of the lens ring so it keeps twisting smoothly, and do not leave the Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Pastel Blue or its film in a parked car: Fujifilm’s guide advises keeping both away from high temperatures.

The Rest, in Brief

Twist the lens to switch on, twist again for Close-Up Mode at 0.3 to 0.5 m with parallax correction, and use the mirror beside the lens for selfies. The shutter runs from 1/2 to 1/250 sec, the flash reaches 0.3 to 2.2 m and recycles in 7 seconds or less on new batteries, and prints finish developing in about 90 seconds.

Who This Is Not For

Travellers who shoot hundreds of frames a day should bring a phone or digital camera as well, because every INSTAX print uses a sheet of film. There is no manual exposure, no way to switch the flash off, no screen and no memory card.

If luggage space is tight, check the size too: the camera measures 104 × 66.6 × 122 mm, noticeably bulkier than a phone.

Yes. It needs no charging, runs on 2 AA batteries rated for about 10 film packs, and the box lists a protective case among its contents.

Does it work in bright sunshine at the beach?

Yes, within limits. Automatic exposure covers LV 5.0 to 14.5 (ISO 800); in harsh midday light, shooting with the sun behind you gives better prints.

Fujifilm does not publish the film count for this gift box; the box panel lists INSTAX mini film without a number. Each extra pack gives 10 prints.
