Fujifilm Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Blossom Pink – Instant Camera Gift Set, Auto Exposure, Close-Up Mode

The Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Blossom Pink puts Fujifilm’s simplest instant camera in a soft pastel pink, packed in a gift box that already carries the accessories most people buy straight after the camera. You twist the lens to switch on, point, press, and a credit-card-sized print slides out in about five seconds. There is nothing to set: automatic exposure and flash control handle the light, which is exactly why this box works so well as a present for someone who has only ever taken photos on a phone.

A Pink Camera in a Pink Gift Box

Blossom Pink is the softest of the five INSTAX mini 12 colours: a pale, milky pink across the whole rounded body, with the lens ring in the same tone rather than a contrasting black. The gift box follows the theme, a pink carton covered in sticker-style artwork, so the Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Blossom Pink already looks like a present before any wrapping paper goes on.

That matters more than it sounds. A box that opens to a matched set, with the camera, case and film in one colour story, feels like a planned present rather than a last-minute purchase. For birthdays, graduations and Eid gifts, pink is the colour that reads most clearly as a gift.

What Is Inside the Box

Fujifilm does not publish a contents list for this gift box on its website, and it does not state how many film sheets are included. What we can tell you is what the contents panel printed on the box lists: the INSTAX mini 12 camera, a protective case, INSTAX mini film and an INSTAX album. Fujifilm’s user’s guide also refers to a strap and to trial batteries supplied with the camera itself.

Gift sets are regional. Fujifilm India, for example, sells a mini 12 gift box with a different mix of extras, including bunting, so a list you have seen elsewhere may simply belong to another region’s box. Once the film in the Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Blossom Pink runs out, any INSTAX mini film pack fits the camera, at 10 exposures per pack.

The Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Blossom Pink at Birthdays and Parties

Parties are where an instant camera earns its place. Guests want a print to take home, and the mini 12 delivers one without anyone learning settings. Automatic exposure reads the room and sets the shutter speed, anywhere from 1/2 to 1/250 sec, together with the flash output, and the flash fires on every shot, so a dim living room or a restaurant table still produces a usable print.

Fujifilm gives the flash an effective range of 0.3 to 2.2 metres. In practice that means groups of four or five people, framed from arm’s length to a couple of steps back, not a whole room shot from the doorway. Hand the Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Blossom Pink to the birthday girl, let the prints pile up on the table, and the album in the box gives them somewhere to live afterwards.

Budget the film before the party starts: each pack gives 10 prints, and a busy evening can easily use several packs.

Selfies and Close-Ups Without Guesswork

Twist the lens one step further and the camera enters Close-Up Mode for subjects 30 to 50 centimetres away. The small mirror beside the lens shows your framing for selfies, and Fujifilm’s parallax correction lines the viewfinder up with the lens in this mode, so a close shot comes out centred rather than cut off at one side.

On the Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Blossom Pink this is the feature younger owners use most: two faces, one arm’s length, one print each.

Caring for the Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Blossom Pink

Light pastel colours show marks sooner than darker ones. Makeup, sunscreen and hand cream transfer easily to a pale pink body, so keep the camera in its protective case when it goes into a handbag, and wipe it with a soft dry cloth rather than wet wipes. Fujifilm’s guide also advises keeping the camera and film away from high temperatures, so a parked car in a UAE summer is the wrong place to leave either.

Who This Is Not For

Anyone who wants control. The mini 12 has no manual exposure, no flash-off setting and no way to retake or edit: every press of the shutter uses a sheet of film.

Anyone who wants files. It is an analogue camera with no memory card and no screen. Fujifilm’s free instax UP! app can scan prints into your phone, but that is a copy of the print, not an original digital photo.

Anyone watching running costs. Film is the ongoing expense, and the prints are small, with an image area of 62 × 46 mm. The camera also runs on two AA batteries rather than a built-in rechargeable cell.
