The ECOVACS WINBOT MINI is the compact member of the WINBOT family: a square robot only 215mm on each side and 55mm thick, made for the windows that larger robots cannot reach. It squeezes behind guardrails and security bars, works on small panes under 30cm and fits under handles that sit 50-80mm from the glass. Despite the size, it grips with up to 7,500Pa of suction, cleans with an ultrasonic mist of particles about 10 micrometres across and, without side bumpers, reaches up to 99.5% coverage right into the corners.

Why Size Matters for the ECOVACS WINBOT MINI
Many homes in the UAE have windows split by bars, mullions or child-safety grilles, plus narrow side panels next to wide sliding doors. A full-size robot simply does not fit those spaces. ECOVACS redesigned the internals of the ECOVACS WINBOT MINI to shrink it: removing the bumper saved 28mm, re-routed dual air ducts saved 3mm in thickness, and a new compact fan cut weight. ECOVACS states the result is 30% thinner and 37% smaller than the model it replaces.
At 1.3kg (±0.1kg) it is also easy to lift, carry from room to room, lend to family and store in a drawer. The smallest window it accepts is 22 x 25cm, with glass at least 3mm thick.
Ultrasonic Mist Instead of Water Jets
Most window robots squirt liquid through nozzles. The ECOVACS WINBOT MINI uses ultrasonic atomization: four outlets turn water into a fine mist of droplets around 10 micrometres in size, which settle evenly over dust and stains and loosen them before the pad passes. ECOVACS says this uses less water and leaves fewer drips than conventional spraying.
The spray covers a band about 8.5cm wide and 10cm ahead of the robot. A 60ml tank lasts up to about 25m² in Fast mode, the spray volume adapts on its own, and you can add a manual burst from the app. The robot tells you when the tank is empty.
Edge-to-Edge Cleaning with No Bumper
Corners are where window robots usually leave a dirty frame. Because the ECOVACS WINBOT MINI has no bumper rails, its 215 x 215mm cleaning cloth reaches the very edge of the body, and ECOVACS rates coverage at up to 99.5% of the pane. The cloth locks in up to 400% of its weight in water to keep the surface damp and hold dust, and two pads come in the box so one can dry while the other works.
Nine Safety Layers in the ECOVACS WINBOT MINI
ECOVACS packs nine protection stages into the ECOVACS WINBOT MINI. Six are hardware: 7,500Pa maximum suction (about 3,200Pa while moving), a sealing cloth design, a patented floating cloth plate, air-pressure compensation that reacts to leaks in 0.04 seconds, blackout protection that keeps the robot on the glass for over 30 minutes with an alarm if the power fails, and a nylon-and-latex safety rope rated at 1,900N or more.
Two are intelligent sensors: a gravity acceleration sensor that sounds an alarm if the robot starts to slip, and an optocoupler sensor that finds the edge of frameless glass in 0.02 seconds. The power cord is 4.7m in total (3.5m DC plus 1.2m AC) and the safety rope 3.3m.
Three Modes, WIN-SLAM 3.0 and Bluetooth Control
Route planning runs on WIN-SLAM 3.0. The ECOVACS WINBOT MINI measures the frame and window size, avoids obstacles taller than 4mm, steers around objects up to 50mm high and continues from where it stopped after an interruption. Three modes are available: Fast for light dust, Thorough (Deep) for grimy glass and Spot for bird droppings or a single stain. ECOVACS rates Fast mode at 3 minutes per square metre (±10 s).
Control is by the buttons on the robot or the ECOVACS HOME app over close-range Bluetooth, which adds four-direction manual steering. ECOVACS lists the noise level at 63dB.
Who This Is Not For
If your home is mostly large living-room glass, the ECOVACS WINBOT MINI is the slower choice: 3 minutes per square metre in Fast mode, and a 60ml tank that covers about 25m². Its total cord of 4.7m means the manual warns of trouble on windows wider than about 3m or taller than 2.5m. It has only three cleaning modes, WIN-SLAM 3.0 rather than 4.0, and Bluetooth only, so there is no Wi-Fi remote use from another room. Like every WINBOT, it needs a socket nearby and should not be used or charged above 40°C, which limits outside glass on hot UAE days.

Will the ECOVACS WINBOT MINI fit behind window bars?
Yes, in most cases. At 55mm thick and 215mm wide, ECOVACS says it can clean windows with guardrails or security bars and windows with handles about 50-80mm from the glass.
Does the ECOVACS WINBOT MINI work over Wi-Fi?
No. The ECOVACS HOME app connects to the WINBOT MINI over close-range Bluetooth, and the robot can also be run from its own buttons.
How large a window can the ECOVACS WINBOT MINI handle?
