The Bus Simulator 21 PS4 disc is a driving and management simulation developed by stillalive studios in Innsbruck and published by astragon Entertainment, released on 7 September 2021. You drive 30 officially licensed bus models from 10 manufacturers, including Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Scania, Volvo and Setra, through two large maps: the US-inspired metropolis Angel Shores and the European city Seaside Valley. Alongside the driving, you build up your own transport company. A later free update renamed the game Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop and added a Career Mode.

Two Cities and Your Own Bus Company
There is no story in the usual sense: the goal is to build a successful public transport company. According to astragon, Bus Simulator 21 offers two big maps with US and European settings. Angel Shores is a large metropolis inspired by a big US city, while Seaside Valley is a fictional European city. You plan routes and stops, buy and customise buses, and grow the company from small beginnings. astragon describes a more open-world approach than earlier entries, with numerous new and revised features. The official PlayStation Store page adds that the free Next Stop update brought a Career Mode, which combines the freedom of Sandbox Mode with the economic system of the campaign, and a free official map extension that adds a new northern area to Angel Shores with new tasks for owners of the main game.
30 Licensed Buses and Daily Driving
The heart of the game is driving. astragon lists 30 officially licensed bus models from 10 brands: Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Scania, BYD, Alexander Dennis, Blue Bird, Grande West, Setra, IVECO BUS and MAN. The range covers city buses, articulated buses, electric buses and a double-decker, so each route feels different to handle. You drive your timetable, stop at each bus stop, open the doors and serve passengers, while traffic moves around you. The bus customisation options let you change the look of your fleet. According to the PlayStation Store page, after the Next Stop update all bus stops and bus models are available from the start, so you no longer have to unlock them through missions. Optional add-ons such as bus packs, a school bus extension and a tram extension are sold separately.
Campaign, Sandbox, Career and Co-op
Bus Simulator 21 offers a campaign, a free Sandbox Mode and, after the Next Stop update, a Career Mode. Offline play is for 1 player. The PlayStation Store lists optional online play for up to 4 players, which requires a PlayStation Plus membership, and astragon describes the cooperative multiplayer mode as a way to drive your company together with friends. Remote Play is supported. The store page lists voice in English, German and Chinese, with on-screen text in 13 languages including English, French, Spanish and Turkish. There is no Arabic language option listed.
Sealed PAL Disc, Updates and PS5
You receive a new, factory-sealed PAL (R2) disc for PS4, the region used in Europe and the Middle East. PS4 games are region-free, so it runs on any PS4. The Next Stop content arrives as a free update download. The PlayStation Store states a PS5 version with 4K and DualSense support is free for PS4 owners; with a disc, the PS5 needs a disc drive. Delivered across the UAE in up to 3 business days, free on orders from AED 300.
Who This Is Not For
This is a slow, realistic simulation: much of your time is spent following routes, stopping at bus stops and managing money, so it is not for players who want action or racing. Online co-op needs PlayStation Plus, and there is no split-screen. Many extra buses, the school bus and tram content are paid add-ons. The latest Next Stop content needs an internet download, and there is no Arabic text.
