The Bose S1 Pro+ is an all-in-one portable PA: a powered speaker, a three-channel mixer and a rechargeable battery in one box with a carry handle. Bose Professional lists up to 11 hours of playtime, one 6-inch woofer with three 2.25-inch tweeters, and 109 dB maximum SPL calculated at 1 m. Singers, guitarists, fitness trainers, teachers and event hosts use the Bose S1 Pro+ in cafés, studios, majlis gatherings and small venues where a full PA would be too much to carry and set up.

Sound and automatic EQ
The Bose S1 Pro+ uses one 6-inch (152 mm) woofer and three 2.25-inch (57 mm) tweeters, with coverage of 120° horizontal and 50° vertical. Bose Professional gives the maximum SPL as 109 dB, calculated at 1 m, and does not publish a frequency response on its spec page. Internal sensors detect how the speaker is placed and apply a matching EQ curve automatically, so it sounds right whether it stands upright, tilts back or lies on its side. Bose Professional also calls it its most powerful Bluetooth party speaker, but its strength is clear voice and acoustic music rather than heavy bass.
A three-channel mixer built in
Channels 1 and 2 are full-featured for speech, vocals or instruments, and Channel 3 is for prerecorded music. Bose lists a 1/4-inch TRS input and a 3.5 mm input on the music channel, with mic and instrument inputs on the first two channels. ToneMatch presets and reverb are available on Channels 1 and 2, so a microphone or acoustic guitar can be shaped without an external mixer. Integrated wireless receivers work with Bose’s optional wireless transmitters for microphones and instruments, which are sold separately, letting a presenter or guitarist move without a cable.
Outputs and live streaming
An XLR balanced line output sends the master mix to a second speaker or a mixing desk, and a separate LINE OUT port feeds a powered subwoofer when you want more low end. Two Bose S1 Pro+ units can be used for stereo. Over USB-C, Live Stream mode turns the speaker into an audio interface and sends a dual mono mix of Channels 1 to 3 to a computer, which is useful for a teacher streaming a class or a musician recording a rehearsal. Dual Wireless Streaming works with compatible Bose systems in dual mono or stereo.
Battery, power and the Bose app
Bose Professional rates the built-in battery at up to 11 hours of playtime; louder settings and wireless use will shorten that. The unit also runs from mains power through the included IEC cord, and its universal supply accepts 100–240 V, so it works directly on UAE sockets. Bose does not list a charge time on the spec page. The Bose Music app gives remote control of settings, the full ToneMatch preset library, channel and reverb mute, saved Scenes and Dual Wireless Streaming, so you can adjust the mix from your phone while standing in front of the audience.
Placement, size and weight
Bose lists four positions: on a raised surface, tilted back, as a floor monitor facing a performer, or on a speaker stand. The Bose S1 Pro+ measures 333 × 239 × 279 mm and weighs 6.5 kg (14.4 lb) net, with a handle on top for carrying from the car to the stage. The box contains the speaker with its battery and one IEC power cord. Wireless transmitters, covers, bags and stands are sold separately, so plan for those if you need them on the first day.
Who This Is Not For
The Bose S1 Pro+ is not for beach or pool use without cover, because Bose Professional states that it is not water resistant. It is not a big outdoor festival speaker, and anyone after party lights and heavy bass will be better served by a party speaker. Wireless microphones are not included, the transmitters cost extra, and at 6.5 kg it is heavier than a typical Bluetooth speaker.
