God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition PS5 & PS4 – 16in Mjolnir Replica, Dwarven Dice Set, Vanir Twins Carvings, Steelbook, Shrine Box

The God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition is the 2022 collector box Sony and Santa Monica Studio built around a 16-inch Mjolnir replica. Alongside the hammer it holds the Dwarven Dice Set, two 2-inch Vanir Twins carvings, a steelbook display case and a printed voucher for the full game on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Every item below is listed exactly as Sony publishes it for this region. Available at Totot with delivery across the UAE.

What Is Inside the God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition

Sony’s own edition listing for the United Arab Emirates gives the contents as seven items: the full game for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 as a printed voucher, a 16 inch Mjolnir replica hammer, the Dwarven Dice Set, two 2-inch Vanir Twins carvings, a digital contents voucher, a Steelbook display case with no game disc inside it, and the Knowledge Keeper’s Shrine.

That list is worth reading closely, because two items in it are routinely described incorrectly elsewhere. The dice in this edition are the Dwarven Dice Set, not the metallic Brok’s Dice Set, and the Knowledge Keeper’s Shrine is the collector’s box itself rather than a separate statue. Both points are covered in the sections below, sourced to Sony.

The 16-Inch Mjolnir Replica in the God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition

The hammer is the reason the God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition exists and it is the largest piece in it. Sony lists it as a 16 inch Mjolnir replica hammer, which is roughly 40 cm end to end, finished to match the weapon as it appears in the game. It is a display replica intended for a shelf, not a toy and not a prop built for handling.

The same 16-inch Mjolnir replica is listed in the larger Jotnar Edition, so on this specific item the two editions match. Sony does not publish a weight, a material breakdown or a finish specification for the replica, so we cannot tell you what it is made of or how heavy it is, and we will not estimate it.

The Shrine Box, the Steelbook and the Vanir Twins Carvings

The Knowledge Keeper’s Shrine appears on Sony’s contents list, and Sony’s own unboxing article on PlayStation.Blog explains what it is: the God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition, in Sony’s words, comes housed in a box representing the Knowledge Keeper’s Shrine. It is the outer packaging, designed as a display piece in its own right, and not a separate miniature or a stand for the other items. You can read the original description in Sony’s Collector’s Edition unboxing post.

The God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition Steelbook display case carries the edition’s cover art, and Sony states plainly that it ships with no game disc inside. The two Vanir Twins carvings are 2 inches each and echo the Huldra Brothers carvings from the previous game. All three are display items; none of them holds or plays anything.

The Dwarven Dice Set, Not Brok’s Dice Set

This is the single most common mistake made about this edition. Sony lists the dice included with the God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition as the Dwarven Dice Set, and describes it on PlayStation.Blog as having a wood-like finish, supplied in a dice bag carrying the symbol of Yggdrasil.

Brok’s Dice Set, which has the metallic silver finish with blue detailing, belongs to the Jotnar Edition instead. If a listing tells you this box contains metallic Brok’s dice, it is describing the wrong edition. The set in the God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition is the wooden-look Dwarven one.

The Game Is a Printed Voucher, Not a Disc

There is no game disc anywhere in the God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition. Sony lists the full game as a printed voucher code covering both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, which means one code handles a console upgrade later, and it also means the Steelbook is supplied empty by design so the box could carry the larger physical pieces.

A second printed voucher covers the digital contents: Kratos Darkdale Armor, Atreus Darkdale Attire, Darkdale Blades Handles for the Blades of Chaos, Darkdale Axe Grip for the Leviathan Axe, the official digital soundtrack, a Dark Horse digital mini artbook, an avatar set and a PlayStation 4 theme. Sony states that a PlayStation Network account and an internet connection are required to redeem the codes. Sony does not publish an expiry date for them, so we cannot quote one.

God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition vs Jotnar Edition

The God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition and the Jotnar Edition share five things: the printed game voucher for PS5 and PS4, the 16-inch Mjolnir replica, the two 2-inch Vanir Twins carvings, the Steelbook display case with no disc, and the Knowledge Keeper’s Shrine.

The Jotnar Edition then adds five items this box does not have: a 7-inch vinyl record with music by Bear McCreary, the Falcon, Bear and Wolf pin set, the Legendary Draupnir Ring, a Yggdrasil cloth map, and Brok’s Dice Set in place of the Dwarven one. If any of those five appear in a description of this listing, that description belongs to the Jotnar Edition.

Who This Is Not For

The God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition is not the edition to buy if you want a disc. The game arrives as a printed code, so if you collect physical media or you want to lend or resell the game later, a standard disc copy is the better purchase and this box will disappoint you. It is also not for anyone who only wants the game: you are paying mostly for display pieces.

It is not for small spaces either. A 16-inch hammer and a shrine-styled box need real shelf room, and the replica is a display item rather than something to handle. Anyone hoping for the vinyl record, the Draupnir ring, the pin set, the cloth map or the metallic Brok dice should buy the Jotnar Edition instead, because none of those are in the God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition. Finally, a PlayStation Network account and an internet connection are required to redeem the codes, so this box is not usable offline out of the wrapper.

FAQ

Does the God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition include a game disc?

No. Sony lists the full game as a printed voucher code covering both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The Steelbook display case is supplied empty, by design.

How big is the Mjolnir replica in the God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition?

16 inches, which is roughly 40 cm end to end. Sony lists the same 16-inch replica in the Jotnar Edition, so the hammer is identical between the two boxes.

Which dice set is in the God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition?

The Dwarven Dice Set, with a wood-like finish in a dice bag carrying the Yggdrasil symbol. Brok’s Dice Set, the metallic silver one, is a Jotnar Edition item and is not in this box.

Is the Knowledge Keeper’s Shrine a separate statue?

No. Sony’s unboxing article describes the God of War Ragnarok Collectors Edition as housed in a box representing the Knowledge Keeper’s Shrine, so the shrine is the collector’s box itself rather than a separate piece.

What digital content is included?

8 items on a printed voucher: Kratos Darkdale Armor, Atreus Darkdale Attire, Darkdale Blades Handles, Darkdale Axe Grip, the official digital soundtrack, a Dark Horse digital mini artbook, an avatar set and a PlayStation 4 theme.

Do I need a PlayStation Network account?

Yes. Sony states that a PlayStation Network account and an internet connection are required to redeem the codes in this box.
