Nintendo gives the size as approximately 13.5 x 10.2 cm, so it fits beside a monitor, on a bedside table or on a shelf.
In Super Mario Bros. Wonder the Talking Flowers comment on what you are doing. Nintendo’s idea here is the same: the flower keeps you company with words of encouragement and silly quips while you work, study or play.
What It Says and When
You can let it speak freely, or press the button to make it talk immediately. Nintendo adds that if you press the button often, it might say something special. Hold the button down and, according to Nintendo UK, it gives a shout of Wonderrr! as music starts to play.
The Nintendo Talking Flower also reacts to its surroundings. It says things based on the time of day, senses how warm or cold the room is, speaks up when its batteries are running low and announces the hour, which Nintendo of America describes, with some humour, as mostly accurate. It can also play select background music.

You can set it to greet you when you wake up and to send you to sleep with a smile. During setup you choose a wake-up time and a bedtime, and Nintendo’s setup guide explains that the flower stays silent from bedtime until wake-up time, so it will not chatter through the night.
