What the eufyCam C35 Is
The eufyCam C35 is a wire-free camera in the sense that matters most at home: it runs on its own 6500mAh battery and connects over Wi-Fi, so there is no power cable to route to the mounting point. eufy states that no HomeBase is required. Put a microSD card in the camera, add it to the eufy app, and it records on its own.

Storage With No Monthly Fee
The eufyCam C35 has no built-in storage. eufy’s FAQ is clear: use a microSD card of up to 256GB, which is not included, or pair the camera with a HomeBase Mini, which has 8GB of eMMC and supports microSD cards of up to 1TB. Either way, footage stays local and there is no monthly fee for recording.
eufy also states that the eufyCam C35 does not support 24/7 recording. Like most battery cameras, it records events triggered by detection, which is how a battery camera saves power between events.
AI Detection, Alerts and Two-Way Talk
On-device AI separates people, vehicles and pets, so you can choose which events send a phone notification. eufy lists two activity zones, drawn as hexagons in the app, to ignore a busy street or a neighbour’s gate. A built-in sound and light alarm can be triggered to deter someone at the door.

The IP67 rating means the housing is dust-tight and can survive temporary immersion, so rain, sprinklers and dust storms are not a concern. The camera measures 59 × 54.5 × 83 mm, and eufy lists four ways to place it: magnetic mount, hang, screw in or simply stand it.
Who This Is Not For
Anyone who needs continuous 24/7 recording: eufy states plainly that the eufyCam C35 does not support it. Homes with only a 5GHz Wi-Fi network will also struggle, as eufy specifies a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection, and weak Wi-Fi at the gate will drain the battery faster.
The resolution is 1080p, so reading a number plate at a distance is harder than with 2K or 4K cameras. You also need to buy a microSD card separately or own a HomeBase Mini, since the camera has no internal storage. Finally, eufy asks for app version 5.2.10 or newer, so update the eufy app before setup.
