Fujifilm Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Clay White – Instant Camera Gift Set, Auto Exposure, Close-Up Mode

The Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Clay White is the most understated version of Fujifilm’s INSTAX mini 12: an off-white body that looks at home on a wedding table, an office desk or a neutral shelf. The gift box adds the pieces listed on its panel, a protective case, INSTAX mini film and an album, so it is ready for an event straight out of the box.

Clay White Up Close

Clay White is a warm, chalky off-white rather than a bright optical white, which keeps it from looking clinical. It is the colour for people who dislike pastels, and the one that blends most easily into event styling, because it does not compete with flowers, table linen or a colour theme.

Inside the pink gift box that all five colours share, the white camera is the most restrained choice, and a good match for adults buying one for themselves.

The Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Clay White at Weddings and Events

A guestbook of instant prints is the classic use. Put the camera on the guestbook table, let guests photograph themselves in Close-Up Mode using the selfie mirror beside the lens, and have them stick the print in and sign next to it. Because exposure and flash are automatic, guests who have never held an instant camera still get a usable picture.

Plan the film carefully. Every guest who takes a photo uses a sheet, and each pack has 10 exposures, so a party of a hundred people needs several packs and a spare pair of AA batteries; Fujifilm rates fresh batteries at about ten packs.

The flash reaches 0.3 to 2.2 m, which suits couples and small groups at a table far better than a wide shot of the whole hall.

Office Parties and Team Photos

The same idea works at work: a farewell, a new colleague’s first day, a team lunch. The Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Clay White looks neat on a desk, and white matches most office interiors. Prints can go straight onto a pin board or into the album from the box.

Living With the Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Clay White

White shows everything. Ink, makeup, grip marks and dust from a bag are more visible on Clay White than on the pastel colours. Use the protective case between events, clean the body with a soft dry cloth, and keep it away from loose pens in a handbag.

Like every INSTAX camera and film, it should not be left somewhere hot; Fujifilm’s guide advises against high temperatures, so do not store it in a car between venues.

What Comes in the Instax Mini 12 Camera Giftbox Clay White

Fujifilm does not publish the contents of this gift box online, nor the number of film sheets included, so we do not state one. The contents panel printed on the box lists the INSTAX mini 12 camera, a protective case, INSTAX mini film and an INSTAX album. Fujifilm’s user’s guide mentions a strap and trial batteries supplied with the camera.

Who This Is Not For

Event planners who want every guest’s photo archived digitally: this camera produces only the physical print, and the instax UP! app scans prints one at a time.

Anyone who needs the flash off for a candlelit ceremony: the mini 12 has no flash-off setting.

And anyone who dislikes cleaning: Clay White needs more wiping than the darker pastels.
