Samsung’s figures for the Galaxy Buds3 White are up to 6 hours of music from the earbuds and up to 30 hours with the case with ANC off, falling to 5 and 24 hours with ANC on. Talk time is up to 4 hours per charge (ANC off). The case charges over USB-C and also supports wireless charging, so it can sit on a Qi pad or on the back of a Galaxy phone with Wireless PowerShare. Samsung does not publish a fast-charge figure for the Buds3.
Galaxy features and phone compatibility
The Galaxy Buds3 White connect over Bluetooth 5.4 with LE Audio and Auto Switch between Galaxy devices signed in to the same Samsung Account. With a compatible Galaxy phone, Galaxy AI Interpreter and Live Translate can play translations through the earbuds; Interpreter needs a Samsung Account. The Galaxy Wearable app needs Android 10 or later with at least 1.5GB of memory, and Samsung states the app is not supported on iOS, so iPhone owners get basic Bluetooth playback only.
Who This Is Not For
The Galaxy Buds3 White are not for anyone who needs strong isolation on a plane or in a loud office: without ear tips, the noise cancelling cannot match closed earbuds. They are not for swimmers or the beach either, since Samsung rates them IP57 and advises against beach or pool use. iPhone owners lose the Galaxy Wearable app and its settings, and people with smaller ears may find the open fit less secure during sport.
