Xiaomi holds Qi 2.0 certification for it (Qi-ID 14864), and says one full power bank recharges an iPhone 15 from empty about 1.1 times over wireless. Qi2 15W on the Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 6000mAh
Xiaomi is specific about who gets the full 15W. The 15W output applies to iPhone 13 to iPhone 15 models that meet the Qi 2.0 standard. For other Apple devices that support MagSafe, the maximum wireless output is 7.5W. Xiaomi’s page does not name iPhone 16 or iPhone 17, so we do not promise 15W on those models.
In Xiaomi’s figures, 10 minutes of wireless charging adds about 15% to an iPhone 15, and a full Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 6000mAh charges an iPhone 15 from zero roughly 1.1 times. That is a realistic day-saver, not a multi-day battery.
Why 6000mAh Gives About 1.1 Charges
The cell stores 6000mAh at 3.87V, or 23.22Wh. Xiaomi also lists a rated capacity of 3600mAh at 5V/2.4A, which is the energy actually available at the output after voltage conversion. Wireless charging then loses more energy as heat than a cable does, which is why the result is about 1.1 iPhone 15 charges rather than two.
The upside of the small capacity is size and travel. The pack measures 104.8 × 68 × 15.1 mm, and Xiaomi describes it as suitable for air travel. At 23.22Wh it is well below the 100Wh level airlines commonly allow in hand luggage.
Magnets and the Built-in Stand
Xiaomi rates the magnetic hold at more than 10N and designs it for iPhone 12 and later. It works with Apple’s official magnetic cases, but Xiaomi warns that some other cases can weaken the magnetic attachment.
A stand is built into the back. It opens and closes in about a second and holds the phone horizontally for video or vertically for a video call or work, so the Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 6000mAh doubles as a desk stand while it charges.
USB-C Input, Output and Pass-Through
The single USB-C port works both ways. As an output it gives up to 18W (5V⏓2.4A or 9V⏓2A) to charge a phone or earbuds by cable. As an input it accepts up to 20W (5V⏓3A or 9V⏓2.22A) to recharge the pack.
Pass-through charging is supported: the pack can charge your phone and itself at the same time. For this, Xiaomi says you need an adapter of at least 10W, or 20W and above for iPhone 13 to 15 with Qi 2.0. If you charge one device by cable and another on the magnetic pad at the same time, Xiaomi rates the combined output at 10W. A USB-C data cable comes in the box; a wall adapter does not.
Safety Protections
Xiaomi lists nine protections: temperature, short circuit, reset, input overvoltage, input overcurrent, output overvoltage, output overcurrent, over-charge and over-discharge, and foreign object detection. Xiaomi also notes that iPhones pause charging at 80% when their own temperature rises past the phone’s threshold, which is iOS protecting the battery, not a fault in the pack.
Who This Is Not For
Android users should look elsewhere: Xiaomi itself says Android phones may see lower wireless efficiency or abnormal wireless charging with this magnetic pack. Owners of iPhone 11 or earlier have no MagSafe magnets for it to hold on to.
If you need two or three full phone charges, 6000mAh is too small; it gives about 1.1 iPhone 15 charges. Xiaomi does not publish the weight, and it does not include a wall charger. Thick non-magnetic cases can stop it holding firmly.
