The Zebra ZQ630 Plus is the widest printer in Zebra’s ZQ600 Plus mobile series. It prints up to 104 mm across, which is the 4-inch format used for most courier and parcel labels, and it does so by direct thermal at 203 dpi and up to 115 mm per second. To keep up with larger labels it carries a 6600 mAh battery, roughly twice the capacity of the 2-inch and 3-inch models. Zebra lists it at 1.1 kg with battery and rates it for 1.83 m drops and IP54. Totot includes an AC adapter with this listing.

The 4-inch format and why it matters
Most parcel, pallet and courier labels in the UAE are printed at 4 inches (about 100 mm) wide, and a 2-inch or 3-inch printer simply cannot produce them. The Zebra ZQ630 Plus handles linered media from 51 mm to 112 mm wide and linerless media from 51 mm to 104 mm, with a maximum printed width of 104 mm. That lets a delivery driver reprint a damaged waybill at the door, or a warehouse receiver label a pallet on the dock without returning to a desktop printer. It also prints wide receipts and invoices for van sales routes.

Battery sized for wide labels
A 4-inch label uses more energy per print than a narrow receipt, so Zebra fits the Zebra ZQ630 Plus with a removable PowerPrecision+ lithium-ion battery rated at 6600 mAh nominal (47.5 Wh). Zebra does not publish a battery life in hours or labels, because that depends on label length, darkness and how often the radio is used. In practice the larger pack is what lets the printer stay on a belt or in a vehicle cradle for a full shift of heavy printing. The PowerPrecision+ battery reports its health to the printer and to management tools, so worn packs can be replaced before they fail.

Built tougher than the smaller models
Zebra rates the Zebra ZQ630 Plus for multiple drops from 1.83 m to concrete, higher than the 1.52 m quoted for the ZQ610 Plus and ZQ620 Plus. It shares the IP54 rating for dust and splashing water, and operates from -20 to 50 °C. It is also the heaviest model at 1.1 kg with battery and measures 187 x 165 x 83 mm, so most users carry it on a shoulder strap or mount it in a vehicle cradle rather than clip it to a belt. Zebra lists certain mounting options, such as the RAM arm mount, as available only for this model.

Media handling on the Zebra ZQ630 Plus
Rolls up to 66 mm outer diameter fit on a 19 mm or 34.9 mm core. Accepted media include die-cut labels and tags, linerless labels, receipt paper and black-bar or gap stock, with thickness from 2.3 to 5.5 mil for tags and up to 6.5 mil for labels. Printed length runs from 12.7 mm to 813 mm. Black-mark and gap sensing plus a label-present sensor let the printer issue labels one at a time. Note that RFID encoding is not part of this model; Zebra sells the ZQ630 Plus RFID as a separate product.

Connectivity, display and software
Zebra’s current specification lists a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) radio with WPA3 and fast roaming, plus Bluetooth Classic and BLE. The Zebra ZQ630 Plus also has USB 2.0 Mini-B and a 14-pin RS-232C port, with Ethernet available only through the optional cradle. A 288 x 240 colour display with five-way navigation shows status and alerts. It runs Link-OS with CPCL, EPL and ZPL, so existing courier, warehouse and ERP label templates usually print without changes, and fleets can be managed remotely with Zebra and third-party tools.
Who This Is Not For
The Zebra ZQ630 Plus is overkill if you only print 2-inch or 3-inch receipts; the ZQ610 Plus and ZQ620 Plus are lighter and easier to wear all day. At 1.1 kg it is heavy for a belt clip. It prints black only, by direct thermal, so labels fade with long exposure to heat and sun. It cannot encode RFID tags (that is the separate ZQ630 Plus RFID), has no built-in Ethernet port, and IP54 does not cover immersion. Check Arabic text output with your own software before rollout.
