Transparency When You Need to Hear
Transparency mode lets outside sound in without taking the earbuds out, useful for a gate announcement or a quick word with a cashier. On Xiaomi phones there is also an Enhance voice option in the MIUI Bluetooth settings that brings speech forward over background noise.
Sound: 11mm Driver and aptX Adaptive
Xiaomi calls the 11mm unit a super balanced speaker, and it is large for an in-ear design, which helps bass weight without pushing the driver hard. With ANC on, that becomes up to 5 hours and up to 22 hours in total. A 5-minute top-up gives about 2 hours of playback, and the earbuds fill completely in about 35 minutes in the case.
The case charges through USB-C, or by placing it on any Qi wireless charger. The Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro case is not tied to a Xiaomi-only pad, so a charger you already own for your phone works.

Xiaomi uses a three-mic setup (feedforward, feedback and a dedicated talk mic) working together for call noise cancellation. The earbuds respond to tap, double-tap, triple-tap and long-press gestures. Xiaomi says it shaped the fit after more than 5,000 ear tests with over 10,000 users, and three ear-tip sizes (S, M fitted, L) are included.
Who This Is Not For
Skip the Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro if you use an iPhone and want aptX Adaptive: iPhones do not support aptX, so you get AAC instead. Flip-to-connect pop-up pairing and the Enhance voice setting depend on MIUI, so they work on Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones rather than on every Android.
Xiaomi does not publish a water or sweat resistance rating for these earbuds, so they are not the pair to choose for heavy gym sessions. With ANC on, a single charge lasts up to 5 hours, shorter than some rivals.
