The Soundcore Liberty 4 NC Light Blue is the pastel version of Anker’s popular noise cancelling earbuds: a pale sky-blue on the buds and case, with nothing else changed inside. That means Adaptive ANC 2.0 rated at up to 98.5% noise reduction, 11mm drivers, LDAC Hi-Res streaming on Android, six microphones for calls and Bluetooth 5.3 multipoint. Anker rates the battery at up to 10 hours per charge and up to 50 hours with the case, and the case charges either on a wireless pad or over USB-C.

Why choose Light Blue
The Soundcore Liberty 4 NC Light Blue is the calm, summery option in the Liberty 4 NC range. It sits well next to white and silver phones, light denim, linen and sportswear, and it looks fresh rather than flashy. Because it is pale, the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC Light Blue is easy to spot in a bag or on a desk, which helps anyone who keeps misplacing a black case. The trade-off is that a light finish shows marks from pockets, sand and makeup sooner than navy or black. A quick wipe with a slightly damp soft cloth every few days keeps it looking new. It is also a popular choice for teenagers and as a gift.
Battery life that lasts the week
Battery is where this model is strongest. Anker rates the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC Light Blue at up to 10 hours per charge from the earbuds and up to 50 hours in total with the case. The 50-hour figure comes from Anker’s own test of 1,000 three-minute songs, and the product page gives no separate number with noise cancelling on, so heavy ANC use will shorten it. For a typical one-hour daily commute in each direction, that still means charging the case only once or twice a week. When you do forget, a 10-minute charge gives up to 4 hours of listening.
Noise cancelling and transparency
On the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC Light Blue, Adaptive ANC 2.0 checks the noise around you and the seal of the ear tips, then adjusts the cancellation automatically. Anker quotes up to 98.5% reduction, certified by SGS in the deepest frequency band, so low rumble from buses, flights and air conditioning is reduced the most. You can also pick one of five fixed ANC levels or the Plane, Train, Bus and Taxi presets, and switch to one of two transparency modes when you need to hear what is happening around you.
Sound and the soundcore app
The 11mm custom-tuned drivers in the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC Light Blue give a full sound with a warm low end. On Android, turning on LDAC in the soundcore app streams at up to 990 kbps, about three times the 328 kbps of standard SBC; iPhones use AAC, because LDAC is Android-only. HearID 2.0 plays a short series of tones and builds a sound profile for your ears, and you can choose from 22 EQ presets or set the EQ yourself. The same app shows battery levels and lets you change the touch controls.
Calls and connection
Six beamforming microphones and an AI call algorithm focus on your voice and reduce background noise on calls. Bluetooth 5.3 multipoint lets the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC Light Blue stay paired to a phone and a laptop or tablet at the same time. IPX4 water resistance covers sweat and splashes during workouts, but the earbuds should not be worn in the pool or the shower.
Who This Is Not For
The Soundcore Liberty 4 NC Light Blue is not the right pick for iPhone users who want Hi-Res wireless, since LDAC works only with Android. The pale finish shows dirt and makeup sooner than dark colours. IPX4 protects against splashes and sweat, but there is no dust rating and no protection for swimming. Anker does not publish playtime with ANC on, so heavy noise cancelling will give less than 10 hours per charge.
