The soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro are open-ear earbuds with an answer to the usual weak point of open-ear designs: what to do when the world gets loud. The ear hook has five levels. On levels 1 and 2 the earbud sits open above the ear canal, so you hear traffic, colleagues and announcements. Move both hooks to level 4 or 5 and the earbud shifts into its ANC form, where soundcore’s Adaptive ANC 3.0 switches on. This listing is the Gloss White version, model A3875, with 11.8 mm drivers, LDAC on Android, Bluetooth 6.1 with multipoint and IP55 earbuds.

Table of Contents
Two forms in one pair
soundcore describes the soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro as a dual-form design. Levels 1 and 2 of the ear hook are for open-ear listening; levels 4 and 5 are for the ANC form, which soundcore calls semi-in-ear. ANC only activates when both hooks are set to level 4 or 5, so one hook on level 2 keeps the pair in open-ear mode. soundcore’s FAQ adds that both forms need an ear canal wider than 16 mm for a proper fit, and the product page says the design fits roughly 90% of ears. In practice that means open-ear for outdoor runs and the office, and the ANC form for a flight, a bus or a busy café, without carrying a second pair.

Adaptive ANC 3.0 in the ANC form
In the ANC form the soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro use Adaptive ANC 3.0. soundcore says the algorithm runs 380,000 checks per second and fine-tunes itself 180 times per minute, using six sensors that listen to ambient noise. soundcore does not publish a decibel figure for how much noise is removed. Because the ANC form is semi-in-ear rather than fully sealed, expect less isolation than dedicated in-ear ANC earbuds: it takes the edge off engine hum and chatter rather than producing silence.

Sound: 11.8 mm drivers, LDAC and spatial audio
Each earbud carries an 11.8 mm composite driver, and soundcore lists Hi-Res audio with the LDAC codec, supported on Android only; iPhone connects over AAC, and SBC is also supported. Spatial audio with dynamic head tracking is available, and HearID in the soundcore app builds a custom EQ around a short hearing test. soundcore’s FAQ lists maximum sound pressure at 92 dB in open-ear form and 93 dB in ANC form, and latency at about 200 ms, which is fine for video but noticeable in fast games.

Battery, charging and water resistance
soundcore rates the soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro at about 7 hours per charge and 34 hours with the case in open-ear form, and about 5 and 24 hours in ANC form, with music at 50% volume. LDAC costs battery: the FAQ gives about 6 hours in open-ear form and about 3 hours in ANC form with LDAC on. Calls last about 4 hours at 60% volume. A 10-minute charge gives up to 3.5 hours of playback. The case charges by cable in about 2 hours, or wirelessly over Qi at up to 3W in about 4 hours. The earbuds are rated IP55; soundcore states the charging case is not water-resistant.

Gloss White, controls and calls
soundcore names this colour Gloss White. It looks bright and clean on the ear, suits light gym wear and office shirts, and is the finish that shows make-up and sweat marks soonest, so a quick wipe after a workout keeps it looking new. The soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro are also made in Matte Black, Matte Purple and Gloss Blue. Controls are physical buttons, which work with sweaty fingers. Four microphones with AI noise reduction handle calls, and multipoint keeps a phone and a laptop connected at once; the earbuds remember up to eight devices.

Who This Is Not For
The soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro do not suit anyone after the lightest open-ear earbud: each bud weighs 10.4 g and the case 88.2 g, with a case footprint of 107.5 × 57 × 30.2 mm, which is a jacket-pocket size. iPhone users will not get LDAC, which is Android only. Anyone expecting the silence of sealed in-ear ANC will be disappointed, as the ANC form is semi-in-ear and soundcore publishes no dB figure. Ear canals narrower than 16 mm may not fit properly. Swimmers should look elsewhere: IP55 covers sweat and rain, and the case is not water-resistant.
